Wasps in talks to takeover Ricoh

Because they clearly want a return on their investment... or at least a sizeable amount. And who will buy a football club that is a second hand tenant in a stadium they don't own? A new owner would potentially be faced with having to build their own stadium as well.

Wasps in talks to takeover Ricoh

The chances of SISU leaving will be virtually zero if this deal happens.

Wasps in talks to takeover Ricoh

You'll have to forgive my cynicism but something tells me SISU would be charged more....

Wasps in talks to takeover Ricoh

So would SISU be offered a controlling stake of ACL at the same price it would be offered to Wasps?

    If (if)

    Absolutely....

Wasps in talks to takeover Ricoh

If this were to happen.... And let's hope it doesn't, but it would probably mean that a SISU exit would be about as likely as finding an unicorn that shits diamonds..

Sky Blues owners reject public meeting with MP

Well it's clear to everyone that the smoking gun didn't exist. It's not like we haven't discussed it.... Higgs was never in any position to be financially distressed by SISU's actions.

Sky Blues owners reject public meeting with MP

I'm not ignoring anything, but that's like saying that SISU must have had a point about the JR because of the amount of court time it received. SISU's actions were to get information. To suggest they were 'distressing' a local children's charity is nonsense. I'm more suprised that no one thinks...

Sky Blues owners reject public meeting with MP

The point is that the two would never have got it on in court if Higgs hadn't instigated the proceedings.

Sky Blues owners reject public meeting with MP

Higgs - not ACL. There's enough distinction to seperate them... especially in this particular example.

Sky Blues owners reject public meeting with MP

I would suggest that a minimum value of £52m from the Premier League TV rights is quite the advantage.

Sky Blues owners reject public meeting with MP

We all know that the counter-claim was to illicit information and was never going to come to fruition. Perhaps if said children's charity hadn't begun the proceedings in the first place and paid their own costs.. which was ultimately the outcome of the dispute. Trying to distress ACL - the...

Sky Blues owners reject public meeting with MP

Blah blah blah... childrens charity distressed by hedge fund... utter bollocks.

    Phase 2: Operation SISU Out

Obviously had an audience with Keys* at the Gillingham game.... Haskell is coming to buy everything and give the 'special' fans a stake in the club and a seat on the board. * The same Keys who said he would never attend another game whilst SISU were in charge.... twat.

    Phase 2: Operation SISU Out

It beggars belief that some people are happier being angry about something and in dispute, rather than just celebrating the fact we are back in Coventry and supporting the team.

Sky Blues owners reject public meeting with MP

There isn't really any desire for football to be 'fixed' and that includes governance. Not saying that we shouldn't care, but when push comes to shove the majority of fans will reject the notion if it means that the financial advantage is removed for their club.

    The New Stadium

I know that for some the hate for SISU runs deep, but we expected SISU and ACL to put the past behind them and sort out a return to the Ricoh. They did and now we are back. Is is too much to ask that some of the fans that called incessantly for this to do the same??

The Ricoh Return and What Now?

OK let me reword. Short term improving attendance should be the only agenda. I do agree that a deal has to be a long term goal... but in the end the two parties got themselves together without anyone else to get us back to Ricoh. Maybe it would be more pertinent to encourage this (perhaps via...

The Ricoh Return and What Now?

He does kind of have a point though. Surely the only agenda item left for KCIC is to contact all those on their mailing list and encourage them to attend games.
