    So the real Poll

Yep, got in a muddle there.

    So the real Poll

Yep, I get that, Stu. No-one has said we are going to get back to back promotions or suddenly sky rocket into the Premiership. Some people on here are totally jumping the gun and making assumptions, reading between the lines of what posters have said. I think if we went up we could make a fist...

    So the real Poll

No-one has assumed that, but teams who get promoted have momentum and quite often do well the following season in the higher League. Conference 2014/15 - Bristol Rovers were promoted. Following season they were promoted again. League Two 2014/15 - Burton were promoted. Following season...

The bar in Fargo village and the Gosford

Not been in, Daz as I am not a drinker. Best to go to Fargo when there is something on though. Sent from my Hudl 2 using Tapatalk

Chicken and egg though Nick. A winning team will bring people into this huge ground. I do agree though that we need a campaign to get bums on seats.

    So the real Poll

Yes because it's what Coventry do and have always done for God knows how many years. Only when we have real success will we see a true turn in fortunes in the stands. 'Typical City' has become an all too familiar phrase these past 15 years or so. No top 6, no play-off, no promotions. It's...

    Butts park arena?

Yeah, what part of 'current' don't you get, Dave? ;)

    So the real Poll

Sorry, but it pointless talking about what we did in the past. We have now had over 25 years of abject failure and the trend is out there for all to see that clubs are expanding their stadiums and moving to newer and bigger stadiums. That is a fact and there is no getting away from it. We get...

    Butts park arena?

Get want you are saying, Dave, but the Butts looks fraught with difficulties. You have the surrounding buildings recently built, you have the poor road access, you have the sunken pitch idea, you have Cov rugby not wanting a 25,000 seater stadium and you have the resident opposition that will...

    Butts park arena?

So you want us to build two stadiums? Brilliant!! Where's all the money coming for this then? If the Butts was ready now as a 15,000 seater stadium then I would say fine, let's go there, but we are talking tens of millions and at least two years to even get to the stage of 15,000. Would you...

    So the real Poll

I think they are saying 15,000 because one, it would suit Cov Rugby best and two, because space is very tight.

    Butts park arena?

I think the bottom line, Dave is, people are saying let's not build a League One stadium that's going to be stuck in League One. 15,000 is fine for us now, but if we are to build a new stadium we need to look to build for a long term future.

    So the real Poll

The man's an idiot. He talked of 12 to 15,000 for a new stadium, but then also thought we could well get 7,000 at Sixfields. In this whole sorry ongoing saga that last statement is right up there with the most ridiculous ever to come out of anybody's mouth.
  15. Otis

    So the real Poll

I wish they would. Be fantastic if we could get 15,000 plus every home game.
  16. Otis

    So the real Poll

Yep, agree with that. Sharing with Cov Rugby is an infinitely better scenario than sharing with Wasps.

    So the real Poll

Yeah, but next season also isn't the next 3 years. :)
