The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

You keep making things up that I supposedly said. Stick to what I did say.

Being annoyed and asking for a review is not the same as losing faith in the whole organisation.

I was remarking on the Telegraph.

Frothing at the mouth because I equated a biased sensationalist report with the Mail and Sun? I think you are frothing at the mouth as you see Brexit wallowing in chaos. I am watching from a safe place. Enjoy your Brexit... you wanted it.

You can dislike the way some things are run, but that is not the whole picture. This case is annoying because it involves the appointment of the head of the civil service. This is power playing and it is not special for the EU. We’ve been trying to do our own behind the scenes dodgy power...

That is if you want the Norway version. Norway has FOM, so no extra for the UK. Japan and Canada are different deals and don’t have FOM so that is not a direct comparison and we haven’t asked for that yet. The EU has offered a customs union, but we have to have the same regulations as the other...

The article is written in the same tone as Mail and Sun. Monster, NAZI grandfather etc.. the comparison is justified.

The SM and CU are not the UK‘s cake. They are EU institutions and we are leaving them, but want the benefits of being in them. Cake and eat it. We’re not getting it. Our own choice.

What extra conditions do we have to fulfill what Japan and Canada don’t? Give me a comparison of a deal where we have to have worse conditions than someone else with the same deal.

I understand that. I have never defended Juncker. I am not now. He is an old fox. Knows the rules inside out and how to get round them. Doesn’t alter the fact that the EU is more beneficial to us than being out of it.

Yes. My world is right. The Telegraph is a leave paper.

Maybe because we want our cake and eat it. In other words we want extra conditions.

We weren’t talking about Juncker though....

Funnily enough he was head of the Exit department for 2 years. Strange that he had nothing to say for 2 years. You should have tipped him off earlier..

He is supported by 27 countries as opposed to 1 country. Seems to be popular.

Well, I hope they sort this out. The guy seems qualified for the job, but it is a weird way of doing things. I am surprised at Farage describing it as nepotism though. His best mate, „the Donald“, has appointed his daughter and son-in-law to the White House. I would have thought that he would...

I haven’t defended the way he got this position, and I have pointed out that he is supposedly intelligent, dedicate, diligent etc. Good points for someone holding a top position. You want to call it defending him. I call it pointing out facts. Now, back to David Davis, or indeed our top civil...

Well, I asked you what was the outcome of the review of his appointment? That was supposed to be over in June. I would say that can give you a better reasoning either way on this appointment.

On what I have read in Astute‘s links. Has anyone said he is thick as mince and lazy as a toad? Seems to be the exact opposite.
