Why are the FL taking so long?

Again why are the FL taking so long to come to a conclusion on something they have already supposedly said to ACL lawyers that the shares are in CCFC Ltd? Whilst SISU maintain that is not the case? Makes me believe there is plenty of ambiguity about this and no certainty.

    Full Q and A's

Name me a football club that runs in an open transparent manner? It's a business and will release only what is required to the public domain whether we like it or not. Before anyone suggest "its our club". No it isn't. It's a business. The last time I looked I was not offered any kind of...

Why are the FL taking so long?

Skyblueswiss I think you did misunderstand my points made. However I think you have formed an opinion that takes a view that ACL can't possible be at fault? Let me make it clear that I don't condone any actions by either side in all this, merely wish to show the inaccuracies that people are...

    Full Q and A's

Ashdown1: Does it matter where or how the money you mention is or has gone? It's all paperwork by clever accounting for the most part and no way can ACL assume they are more knowledgeable in all this. They are not. What needed to be understood by ACL and for me they simply won't get it - is any...

Why are the FL taking so long?

Skyblueswiss: No not saying that at all. I said they manipulate legally in other words within the law. That's a big difference. It's how business is conducted many times. Use the law to your advantage, don't break the law. I said ACL 'feel' cheated never said they were. A business can...

    Full Q and A's

No I agree. You have to read it all carefully. ACL are squeezing the life blood from the football club even after the football club came knocking at the door to find a way forward. ACL just see themselves as a stadium company and the football club another renter believing they don't need the...

Why are the FL taking so long?

Why so long to determine where the 'Golden Share' lies and if that means an immediate points deduction? I would have to guess that the whereabouts of which company legally has the 'Golden Share' is proving a bit of a conundrum? ACL say the FL told them it was with CCFC LTD and Fisher and the...

    Assets

I just have a sneaky feeling the FL at some point back compromised themselves to SISU's lot without realising it. ;)

    Where we're at

That was a good summary up to the point he started explaining the views of the BBC and other summations and he got into that trap of assumption again. I won't pick it apart but the Leeds case was very, very different. The Southampton case similar but not the same scenario. Also one thing to...

if ALC really cared about Coventry City

Grendel makes a valid argument. I think ACL are little better than the scoundrels SISU. It's not that ACL have a bad heart it's the way they perceived everything and got so much wrong, even the petition at the court. I would not be surprised to find they think they had it sorted because the...

    High Court Match Thread

...yes and there can be no -10 deduction this season. I can't see how while to facts still have to be on the table first. SISU's brinkmanship last Thursday is a gamble on avoiding this -10 points this season (among other considerations) Bit of a waste if we don't make it to the playoffs!

    High Court Match Thread

So CCFC Holdings have no debt? They are solvent and trading. They are the football club but then word is they don't hold the golden share the company in administration does (CCFC Ltd) This is a tough one for the league. They gave the holding company consent to find an alternate ground. This mix...

£60m debt. Sisu doubters proved correct

Your feeding off headlines and not appreciating what is real debt. OSB will better explain this.

Half stakes for sale - £4m and £40m

New to me this story but not far off what I have been calling for if true and would be the scenario that SISU wanted and any other investor requires in order to move forward. I suggest the £40m or so to buy out ACL and Higgs is to regain the lease in whole for the 49 year period (renewable and...

    High Court Match Thread

That's always what today would be about. The allegedly part is key. Remember Fisher said they had been in talks with the FL before taking actions? I think the FL league need to make a clear statement but suspect SISU have made their position very difficult if they already gave consent to certain...

    Update from the High Court

So it seems proven that the 'golden share' is indeed with the company SISU placed in admin? (unless there is some scurrilous evidence to suggest it's the Holdings Ltd company somehow) I would need confirmation from the FL and FA that while this is so does that change anything about the...

    Interestingly...ahead of tomorrow:

Hard to see how you can revoke an administration order, unless it was wrongly given (I.e. was not given on the basis for the giving of an administration order under the Insolvency Act 1986) - and I doubt that would be the case. So if ccfc ltd is in admin, it's in admin.

Apparently you can't reverse or as I had thought revoke it

    Time to go Tim

Grendel is correct in most what he says. Just that we all must understand one point. CCFC Ltd held the lease and went into admin. The lease was broken. They were no longer tenants so had to leave and find elsewhere. It's ACL back tracking furiously announcing in the media they never said they...

    Interestingly...ahead of tomorrow:

"If Sisu has cleverly structured it so that Holdings owns the club but ltd holds the liabilities then this may act as a scupper to putting Holdings in admin, but the court can pull apart the corporate structure and make ltd's shareholder (Holdings) liable for ltd, in which case holdings would...
