I fully understand why you are being so defensive, hence the suggestion of trying to be a bit more pragmatic. Why not draft up some text of what you see being more appropriate wording and pm it to Michael.

All of the main protagonists have signed. he wording doesn't seem a major concern to them. The opportunity is there to get it all out in the open (as much as possible anyway). You have an issue with the wording, and seem happy to allow this to get in the way of what the whole process is about...

If Cov fans aren't going to sign this due to being pinickety about the wording, then what chance of getting the wider population in and around Cov to do so. Nit picking small mindedness springs to mind. All parties invovled would be expected (altough don't have to) attend. That is the whole point.

Delighted we moved to Northampton then. We should carry on not turning up so that we can enjoy the team doing well from afar! - or could it be down to footballing reasons and Pressley management and style of play.

In a sense it is, but only on a specific legal point. This much broader in nature, offering the opportunity to cover key issues of football governance, and not just a singular issue in regard to CCFC

The point is not whether any party is keen on an investigation, just that all parties cannot be seen to the outside world as the ones casuing the issues; which not signing the petition may indicate. Just imagine if one didn't - we would all be making merry with it!

Every party and individual will have their own motives for signing, and it makes sense for all sides to sign up, otherwise it may look to the outside world that a party had something to hide or were the key factor in the issue. Puts the FL under the spotlight - they haven't signed, and are not...
