    Probably right there mate.

    weather report from Northampton

Cobblers fans that I have spoken to don't blame the pitch for being bottom of the league. Lack of investment on the football side of things by comparison to building hotels and expanding the ground are more of a bug bare.

Why was Highfield Rd called Highfield Rd???

I assume you have seen the wiki "fact" that it was down to being a bit lightweight for the Southern League, and as we didn't have a nickname, then this one stuck. I wouldn't know if there was anything in this.

Why was Highfield Rd called Highfield Rd???

So that now makes me more of a fan than last season as Cov now play 3 miles from my home! :)

    Protest inside Sixfields

Nick, Andreas did state a few weeks ago that he would be prepared to display banners in the ground, as long as they were unbiased and focused on the time away from Cov (I paraphrase slightly). He may be taking the pi** of course and sitting back now enjoying himself at the discussion - fine. But...

    Protest inside Sixfields

I am aware that there hasn't been a game since Christmas, which is why I was asking now as to how the banners were coming along. Straight forward question in response to you mentioning protesting.

    Careful now!

9 quid to watch Cov tomorrow

Don't worry, I believe he was too. He did refer to some kind of banner protest a few weeks ago which focused on our time away from Coventry (number of weeks away which changed game by game). He talked about "How to engage the Sixfielders"

    Attendance v Carlisle

I have lived in Coventry (born there), Dublin, Johannesburg, Kettering and Northampton. My parents are Irish. The old man supported Cov, as do the rest of the clan, and my kids (Northampton born) . Find all of this bickering a bit confusing to be honest. I have often questioned myself as to why...

    Attendance v Carlisle

In light of the post above, this may be slightly risky; but here goes: The local forecast is for light rain this evening and tomorrow afternoon, so it could be nip and tuck for the game. As for the attendance - not too fussed really. As for the score, I hope we win.

Not that I am one to bear grudges, but I have disliked Alan Green ever since.

    Tomorrow

Saints are at home just down the road, so footie plays second fiddle to the rugger. Common practice in these parts. Really pisses off a lot of Cobblers fans

    Next Season

Sorry about the huge image Nick, and thanks for getting rid. My level of competence with IT is probably the second worst on the forum :(

    Tomorrow

Not had that much rain today by comparison to recent events, so likely to be on (unless it w**ks it down overnight of course)
