    Isaac Moore

& yeh, and I have to say Pep has always managed big clubs with huge resources, it would be interesting to see him manage a club where there’s not a pot to piss In. Not sure how well he’d do….

    Captain Grimes

How about Rudoni. Sets an example every time he steps on the pitch. Not sure what he’s like verbally or his standing in the dressing room, but on the pitch he looks to be a real leader.

What is happening at centre half?

Interesting, Ipswich fans seem to rate him highly.

What is happening at centre half?

Just read on X that Kieran McKenna has said that Luke Wolfenden has told him he no longer wants to play for Ipswich. There’s then a link to our supposed interest in the player. I’ve no idea of the veracity of this…..

I don’t think he was referring to me. I ‘ve not been one to knock Simms in rh the past, although ough i don’t think he is good enough to lead our line. Just doesn’t have the technique/ control/physicality to hold the ball up and bring others into play.

    The Old Five

Yes, it was well prior to the Hill era, but when i started going up in the early 60’s you would still hear (usually from older supporters ‘come on the old five!’

    2025 -26 season captain

As the season went on, the player who led by example more tham any other player was Rudoni. It would probably be disruptive to strip Sheaf of the captaincy, and I’m not sure how vocal Rudoni is, or whether we’ll keep him into next season, but for determination and drive, I think we are seeing a...

Who was in goal the furst game you saw ?

I i’ve always thought (or assumed) that Bob Wesson was in goal for my first game, which was on the 6 April 1963, at home to Halifax Town. The score was 5-4 to City, with a George Hudson hat-trick, the other goals scored by Dietmar Bruck and Jimmy Whitehouse. BUT - the 11v11 record shows that...

    Pre Season Friendlies

Seem to remember it pissed down and we were in the open? We played them off the park for 20 mins then conceded a totally daft goal and promptly fell apart!

    Lampard - Next England Manager

Think Lampard is a shoe in IF he can make a success of managing a club in the Premier League. Think Tuchel is only in contract to the end of the World Cup so may well go after that whatever. The Nations League final between Spain and Portugal showed how far behind the best teams in Europe...

Blog The One Goal Club: Conor Thomas

But that was the late equaliser at Molineaux back in League 1. It was a cracking goal, and as anyone of a certain age knows, Wolves are the real enemy, so it was a goal that had me jumping up and down! Particularly sweet as some Wolves arsehole had run down the touchline giving us the v sign...
