This is down to the unconnected creditors rule. SISU/Otium are connected creditors because they are linked companies, so even though they've somehow managed to lard £60m of debt onto a non-trading subsiduary, they don't get the final say on the CVA because ACL are the main unconnected...

Just my opinion, but these cuts look more about reducing the wage bill than removing dead wood (with the possible exception of Clarke, unless he signed a new contract last season?). Such is life, I suppose. I appreciate we need to pay within our means, but I do wonder at the logic of cutting...

I wouldn't doubt it's possible that SISU might want to move out there for a few years. But I think it's unlikely they'd either be able to sell it on after that for a huge profit, or be allowed to stay there and remain in the FL under current rules.

But they wouldn't retain the golden share if that was SISU's plan. The whole point of the FL rules is stop that happening again.
