Why I like the diamond and how it suits us.

On paper anyway, it is better than last seasons and I think it would hold it's own in the Championship.

Why I like the diamond and how it suits us.

For teams with slow wingers, but against a pacey winger he'd get terrorised. Baker showed glimpses but overall, his lack of ability for passing is shown and why Fleck is needed ASAP!

Thank you, I rate Hussey, but is a too 'hit and miss', as with Baker, macca, Bell.

Why I like the diamond and how it suits us.

Before I start, this is the team I'll play so everything I say on it is with this XI in mind: Murphy Clarke Malaga Wood Hussey Jennings Barton Thomas Fleck Cody Elliott I'll start from defence to strikers. Defence: Some have seen what G Neville has said on MNF of the modern day full back...

    Meaning what? I'm pro diamond.

    League One = 4-4-2

I think the problem is more to do with the manager than system IMO. You look 1st half v Bury, we dominated, they were lucky to be 2-0 down... Just as said, AT was too reactive, maybe lacks motivational skills. if you're a bad manager it doesn't what formation you play, you'll still perform...

Which I believe it's the diamond, hope the new manager keeps it and has better luck with it!

sacking AT is a terrible decision

I for one applaud the decision makers here. Why? Because they decided he weren't the man, without 'pussyfooting' (yes I nicked off Boris, he's still a wanker though) and letting the situation get worse and acted accordingly. I'm not saying this is good or bad as I'm reserving my judgement...

When will we have our next manager?

I think they have an idea who they want or else they wouldn't have sacked him so early. Remember when we got AB, announced we agreed compensation for him and the next day he was our new-to-be unsuccessful manager! These things can be done quite quickly!

    This time next year

I can only go on what've read as I weren't alive when he was appointed manager, that had he not won against Forest (in the cup) and won the cup, he'd been sacked. Owners who give managers financial backing as he did, are normally expected to provide the goods - fast! Also read St. Mirren's...

When will we have our next manager?

When do you think we'll have our new manager by? I think we'll have a new manager before the Crewe game but his first game will be Burton.

    Thorn's Signings

Tough one, I'd go with ATs signings, new manager because if the decision makers have any sense we're going to hire a manager who is going to try play passing football and not 'Hoofball', as our team isn't suited to 'hoofball'. Tisdale for the job! (Or Abbott, at a massive push, Di Canio or...
