We have until 12pm tommorow to buy tickets, bit stupid that it aint pay on the gate. We had sold approx 3000 as of yesterday apprantley so I doubt we'll reach 4000, which isn't too bad but not as many as usually pull for this fixture, mainly cus we've started crap and we've had a few visits over the last few years.

-------------------Doyle--------------------
Packwood--Ibanez---Davies---Gordon
Burke------Gomis----Morrison--Redmond-
------------Rooney---Lovenkrands---------

That's if we make a few changes as I hope we do, we've been dire in all of our opening 3 fixtures so i'm not confident at all.

Watched the watford blues match on saturday and when you lot got into it you looked dangerous but the problem was that was at about the 60/70th minute!
Didn't realise how shit Zigic really was, he is useless and I mean that.

Think this one will be very tight, despite it being a cup match I think Lee Clarke still has pressure on him to get his first win so will no doubt put a team out that could do some damage. Though I Have a feeling shaw and carsley have the dressing room on their side and will be telling the lads that they're playing for them. Most of our boys won't be down by Thorns departure imo.

Final score 1-1
Birmingham winner in extra time 2-1 brum

EDIT: SOTV

I think the interest is not this cup fixture now but the way we play after the clueless one has gone and what different picks Shaw and Carsley make to the team as opposed to what Thorn may have started with. I bet McSheffrey is back instantly for a start. When you have quality you must play it and give it time, it only takes a moment for quality to win a game...something Thorn just never understood for me. His subs and playing CB's at RB a nd stuff like that just annoyed the hell out of me.

We can win it but depends on the malaise at the club and the mental attitude. Not so sure carsly and Shaw are so well liked either. Most players there don't know them or have a past with them.

To the Birmingham fan, I'm 90% sure you can pay on the gate!
Our website states 12 latest.

I think you have a point about Clark fielding a stronger line up actually, I suppose he'll be desperate to get the fans on his side.

Not sure whether i'd rather Thorn in charge for this game tonight or not... What gives me hope is that one half of your caretaker managers is a bluenose :claping hands:

What's the attendance going to be from your side then? I'm so glad were away for this one, it's a decent away draw as there's not many carling cup away games you can land a train back for but i'd dread it as a home fixture, those cold souless midweek cup games ahh..

It will be empty, which is disappointing. Many believe this is a nothing game in a nothing cup.
For many people Crewe away is a far bigger game!

Expect around 10k today!

Coventry La La La
Id been resigned to a spanking since this draw came out but ive been given new found faith from the attitude of some of my bluenose friends. The most possitive of which predicts pens and a long night, everyone else is expecting an upset. But then the way they have started the season, an upset could be blue actually winning :)

If Blues really do bring 3,500 then I'd be gutted if the crowd isn't above the 12000 mark. The club is desperate for money you clowns get down there !!!

Regardless of being able to watch it without going. I'm taking a party of 10. We need to support our players there and then. At least I've got a blue nose in the cov end who won't cheer when they score ;-)

Like i said on another post can Cov fans going to tonight's game keep an eye out on the directors' box and players lounge etc for any unemployed managers ;) Our next manager is certain to be at the match on a scouting mission, taking notes etc. PUSB
