    Starfield

I've watched a few hours of the eldest playing it, seems very slow and somewhat complex to me; but I am old now and unlikely to be the target market. I'd guess it depends what floats your boat and how much spare time you have on your hands. :)

No mate, not a joke. An opinion. Get over it if yours differs. Down the channels Simms looked quicker and keener when he came on, I thought. Simms was probably tiring by then in fairness. I'm interested in your genius though mate, you're of the opinion that Simms is a striker that doesn't need...

It's not an unfair point, but daft as it sounds I think we're back in a kind of rebuilding phase. If either Simms or Wright had clicked straight away then it's a different story, but that's football. For me personally, Robins has done enough to earn a bit of trust. He's shown he can turn...

Fair enough mate. I doubt there's many on here who haven't lost it watching City at some point. It's good to let it all out from time to time. 😁

In fairness to Wright, and this won't be a popular opinion, I actually thought he offered a bit more than Simms when working the channels and perhaps added a bit of energy when he came on. But the miss was hideous I'm afraid. Anyone who thinks Godden doesn't add anything except goals...

Painful. Very little threat up front, so a single mistake at the back is always going to hurt. Unless I missed something Wright missed an absolute sitter on the rebound as well. Robins has got a lot of work ahead; I trust him, but that was a game we should've buried.

To me, it looks like we're dominating possession and deserve to be in the lead, but also it feels a bit pedestrian at times. I'd like a second goal, but then, who wouldn't! Definitely enjoying Saka getting a lot of the ball, not sure their full back has an answer to that at the moment.

Do short safe passes lead to impotence?

Now I know what my problem is, I've been playing too much 5-a-side. I need to get back to bigger pitches. Go long to "go long", basically. I'll send the little blue pills back. 😄

Pies eaten: I've got Mickey Quinn. Gimme your Clarrie Bourton, mate. My next card, Julian Gray.... err... 😁

    Russell Brand

Brand had a chance to respond. The journalists wrote to him and offered him exactly that. He could have been interviewed and offered his side of the story. Or he could have raised an injunction and tried to prevent broadcast/publication, or he could claim defamation and sue the arses off them...

Indeed. Either way, if true, it's typically not the behaviour of someone who had had "consensual" sex.

From what I recall, at least one of the parties produced written evidence that she'd attended a rape clinic (for want of a better phrase) after the assault, and had been prescribed a prophylactic (morning after pill) and a course of antibiotics. From memory, she said in that written statement...

Wasps go to bottom of the pyramid

Yep, just spotted this. Slimy bastard, if I was a Warriors fan I'd want him nowhere near. It feels a lot like another 'cuckoo' operation; having failed with Wasps in Coventry are they going to try again by usurping Worcester?

That's not an unreasonable point mate, (much as it pains me to say it). 🙂 I think the counter argument is that this never gets to trial without the press bringing it to light, and as a result justice is never served either way. And of course, potentially the list of victims continues to...

Absolutely fair point mate. Tate is preying on misguided and unfortunate young men too. For his own personal profit. I'm not sure that any of these conspiracy nutters or incel advocates actually believe what they say, but they know they've got a ready market in people who need to blame their...

Other than in a pub brawl, I'm not sure that having Tate on your side is necessarily helpful in your defence. This ridiculous, "the matrix is after us to shut us up", is laughable. These guys have had huge amounts of leeway to spout their ludicrous and often dangerous opinions. They're...

I get the concerns about trial by media, but at the end of the day this seems like a solidly researched piece, outlining a pattern of behaviour. If the accusations are false, or even if they're true but can't be reliably proven, then he's got the most favourable defence in the world on his...

    Garden Leave

I'd love a few months/years off, but I'm not keen on gardening. Would they let me do something else instead? 🙂 I worked, indirectly, for a boss who put anyone who handed their notice in out of the door on the same day. It was madness, and cost us a fortune because he churned staff like crazy...
