    The boredom of it all

How's going to the games 'following him to the club's death'? This will be interesting.

Adding to our small squad :

Considering people were saying 'who would want to join CCFC', then we attract a Scottish intn'l CB and ST with apparently, a lot of potential and if anything, after our start, we are more attractive to join an at the minute, the sky is the limit for our young squad.

    Four out, none in

Jesus-wept said "The latter" which was 'SP being pressurised into not to add to the squad'. Personally, I think that's a ridiculous notion. SP has brought in quality where and when he's seen fit.

I'm not being funny, but protesting on the hill, in my view, defeats the objective, you're arguing 'keep Cov in Cov', but still make the effort to go to Northampton to watch on a hill. What would the hill protestors do if it was closed one game? Just go home or 'got this far, may as well go in'?

Adding to our small squad :

What were the odds? I think people are underestimating our depth. GK: Murphy, Burge RB: Christie, Clarke, Phillips, Willis CB: Clarke, Webster, Willis LB: Adams, Haynes, Clarke RM: Baker, Daniels, Moussa CM: Fleck, Thomas, Lobjoit, Barton, Daniels LM: Moussa, Garner, Fleck ST...

Adding to our small squad :

Yes. I felt bar CB the team would get on just fine, midfield, there was always depth, L.Clarke got in L1 team of the year so obviously that wasn't an area of weakness (maybe a cover needed but Wilson and Manset) been but we signed a CB in the summer so I think playoffs may be on the cards but...

    Four out, none in

I'm not too keen on the loan market, unless there's potential for a permanent deal, signing loans isn't necessarily the best long-term option for me.

    Four out, none in

We're playing some of the best football in the division, so I can't imagine there's a rush to get loanees in, because the parent club would want their player to start and at the min, rightfully, that isn't guaranteed. Plenty of time for SP to change his mind. I imagine we may sign this...

Adding to our small squad :

Oh, plenty of people said this before the season, whilst I remained confident stating we only desperately needed CBs, and lacked depth, I felt we weren't too far away from a playoff standard team, the reaction was, well quite negative, and that's without a fair few players have pleasantly...

    Callum Wilson for England

We missed essentially one position, don't think that lets off what a poor performance it was, Lambert had no service, say arguably, the applies if <insert unavailable striker> played. I'm going to put into perspective guys: we've only beaten 2 teams this qualification, San Marino and Moldova...

    Callum Wilson for England

Attacking movement tonight epitomised (alongside many more examples!) the lack of technical ability of pir players and once more highlights the need for a revolution in the culture of English football (it can be done, Spain were once dark horses, and now are the best!) More English players and...

    Callum Wilson for England

Probably do better than Lambert! (Tongue in cheek!) Lambert is an average (at best) prem striker and shouldn't be anywhere near the England team! Isn't even like he has age on his side. I'm a fan of Hodgson, but I don't know why he's picking players who are old and past it, Osman, Lambert...

Guys, development + origins of football, rugby (and swimming/bathing, tennis, cricket and athletics) from pre-industrial Britain to today, was part of the P.E course last year, and from both what you've said, it's true, and hasn't deviated from what I've said. Football and Rugby Football...

Nope, both sports, go back to to Rugby Football and mob games in pre-industrial Britain. Founders of the FA (1863) ex-students from Rugby School who wanted to outlaw using hands in the game. There were other adaptations to these games from other public schools.

So one isolated incident, over 30 years ago, justifies hordes of players in the refs face? Besides, the incident you refer to was by the captain (?) an dealt in a polite manner, in rugby, the ref talks to 2 people on the pitch, both captains (not literally) and it's done in a civilised...

Actually, it wasn't. Rugby Football was made at Rugby School, then, Association Football split from 'Rugby Football' because of use of hands.

95% of the time, football players don't just 'question' the ref, there're 5-6 players in his face sometimes shouting and it's blatantly disrespectful. Also, no referee ever, in any sport that doesn't have 'appeal systems' has changed his/her mind because players have questioned their judgement...
