ACL will have enough votes to reject deal at creditors meeting

I take it as ltd still being in admin, with nothing but the lease in it. Either PA will liquidate ltd or SISU will as soon as they take it over and unless the lease has a clause which ties it to the golden share (very unlikely I would have thought) the lease will end with liquidation. The...

ACL will have enough votes to reject deal at creditors meeting

Looking at the statement on ccfc.co.uk it seems Otium HAVE NOT purchased Ltd but have instead cherrypicked the assets the want out of Ltd. Les Reid has indicated it's the administrators report that has said if the CVA is not approved he will liquidate, I can see how that ties with an aim of...

    a question

Youth players only count as part of your squad after a certain number of appearances. Portsmouth refused to play them or even have them on the bench and so fell below the minimum squad size and therefore the league allowed them to make signings but they could only make them on monthly contracts.

ACL will have enough votes to reject deal at creditors meeting

what I found interesting was Les Reids tweet saying the administrators report indicated that if the CVA wasn't approved they would liquidate. couple of thoughts spring to mind. Firstly there are other buyers in interested so why would you liquidate if the bid from your initial preferred bidder...

    The SISU Pyramid tangled web...

seems like they haven't even done that, they've purchased some assets of a company they own.

    a question

no, you get a points deduction for what the FL term an insolvency event. going into admin was one, coming out of admin without an approved CVA would be another (and more than -10). Staying in admin makes no real difference apart from still being under an embargo. it would only become an issue...

    Takeover complete?

Whole thing stinks. SISU were the only ones who knew what was in ltd and they've been allowed to cherry pick which bits they want. None of the other bidders even knew for sure what they were buying.

    Takeover complete?

Remember the days when you didn't have to be a financial and legal expert to support city?!

    Takeover complete?

I may have this wrong then, I thought the first things was a CVA proposal to creditors which, if rejected, could be authorised by the court provided they felt it was fair. Remember not only do SISU need to agree it more than 50% of unrelated creditors have to agree the CVA. You could have a...

    Takeover complete?

Other clubs have had a preffered bidder named and then had to change that to an alternative why would that not apply to us? Surely if the sale to Otium can't be complted the club should be offered to the other parties who were interested not automatically liquidated?

    Takeover complete?

from ccfc.co.uk I might be reading that wrong but that sounds like Otium haven't purchased Ltd (which would explain why it's still in admin), it has just purchased some of the assets of Ltd (not sure you can buy the FL share, didn't think that was allowed). This seems a right stich up. SISU...

    Takeover complete?

Snippet from Les Reid on twitter: This doesn't seem right to me (not meaning Les is wrong, meaning it sounds dodgy practice), other offers on the table but if the one from SISU isn't accepted I'll liquidate, how can that be right. Trying to force the league to ignore reasons F&P would be...

    Takeover complete?

More details on the bbc site: think we need someone who knows more about business as it doesn't make sense to me that they've completed the purchase but we're not out of admin, I don't see how both those things are true. to me either PA is in charge and we're still in admin or Otium have...

    Takeover complete?

So far PA had said Optium were the preferred bidders. He is now saying they have completed their takeover which would mean we're no longer in admin (not sure how this has been done without the creditors meeting taking place). That's a business transaction and has nothing to do with the FL. There...

    Takeover complete?

they can purchase the company without passing F&P so that's not an issue (not at this point anyway) but what about the requirement for the creditors meeting and the cooling off period, how have they got round that if they're legal requirements?

    Fit and Proper concerns

wouldn't be a problem, we can use the Ricoh for free while in admin and until we reach a point where we can't field a team we shouldn't have an issue. Pompey played the majority of last season in admin so I don't see why we couldn't do the same (probably with the same outcome and ending up in L2).

    Even more players to go.

This is the key point, arguing over who is / isn't good enough is pointless. Unless people are saying we had players knocking around last year who should have been in the team ahead of those being told to go we will be a weaker squad until replacements can be signed. We don't know for sure we'll...

    Even more players to go.

So what happens if we don't sell them? What's the point of having them not training with the squad while they are still here. Seems strange to me, we know we will still be in admin, and therefore in embargo, at the start of the season so can't sign anyone so surely you make use of what you have...
