    Favourite current player ....

I really want JJ to do well. My favourite player right now is probably O’Hare - his ‘pump it up’ celebration was brilliant.

    Transfer Rumour Bye Bye Kasta

Probably didn't react to the news that his only chance of playing was at RWB very well...

    Marcel Hilßner - Asthma issue

I sure Shipley could last closer to 90m if tactically, it demanded it. But, we had so many players in his position, MR could quite easily tell him to go all out until 60-70m mark. Anyway, I doubt it's related to his asthma, because you just need to manage it with medication. In my experience...

    Post Posh thoughts

I'm proud we have a good young team. You cannot break up that leadership duo of McFadz and Kelly right away in this league. Maybe one of them could be dropped, but not both. With the condensed fixture list, injuries and suspensions, there will be opportunities for the next 'generation' on...

    Transfer Rumour Ben Sheaf

I’m obviously biased, but we ought to be a very attractive team for developing young players. I can’t imagine someone like Sheaf getting a fair crack of the whip at Bournemouth.

    Transfer Rumour Ben Sheaf

Probably why it’s taking long - speaking to multiple clubs.

    More signings

Not necessarily. I doubt we’ll go above 50% capacity this season. If that’s the case, we won’t really be impacted as much as clubs who operate toward 70-100% capacity consistently. Clubs like Forest, Derby and so on. Last season we would get around 25-30% capacity of SA. Similar to the touted...

Match Thread Sky Blues v Boro (double header)?

I like Biamou, he had some good cameos last season and certainly kicked on from his L2 days. But, the Championship is likely a step up too far for him. Gooden and Walker are the two obvious starting caliber strikers, and Baka has looked good in preseason. Where does Biamou fit in?

    More signings

I doubt that because we’ve had approximately a £6m windfall from promotion alone.

    More signings

There’s no way we have a smaller budget than Wycombe and he said we’d have the ‘smallest budget bar none’ and said even with Wycombe promoted. It’s a smart move, and it manages expectations of him and the team. In the market, fees always inflate a little when a team gets a windfall from a sale.

That’s Biamou finished here then. As soon as Robins falls out with a player, it’s game over. Only Kastaneer may actually manage to wriggle back into the mix.

Match Thread Sky Blues v Boro (double header)?

I don’t think it’s outrageous. With our shape, we could feasibly play with a slightly more attacking WB like Jobello, Kasta, Hilßner (and so on). It’s not that uncommon. Obviously, they need to have the work rate and to not be a hopeless defender.

Eisa had 13 in Jan too, so in nearly 2 months added 1 goal to his tally.

    Incoming - Tyler Walker

Probably a combination of those factors. A lot of Championship clubs are stretching their resources very thinly and the loss of ticket sales is huge. What is perplexing is that Grabban is 32-33, so I’m surprised to see Forest let go a young talent, who seems to be a natural successor. Either...

How many pens did he score v how many pens Toney scored?

    Incoming - Tyler Walker

If Dabo is only missing for a handful of games, you’re right, it probably isn’t worth spending budget on such a move. The highest priority now, I’d say is addressing this CM slot(s).

    Incoming - Tyler Walker

Have you considered we may try 3-4-3 in some games? In the same way we’d switch to 3-4-1-2 when chasing a winner/equaliser. Last season, the 3-4-2-1 shape with the ‘box’ came about because we had no strikers nor wingers available.
  18. Mucca Mad Boys

    Incoming - Tyler Walker

I’m happy Forest recalled Walker because had he scored 20-25 goals, there’s no way we’re getting him for less than £1m. Toney had a great season in an attacking team, and at the minute is most likely the better striker than Walker. But, Walker is a year younger, and scored a lot of L1 goals for...

    Incoming - Tyler Walker

I’m happy with RWB if DaCosta isn’t sidelined for the whole season. If it’s an ACL, we could do with a loanee coming in. I like Mason too, but he’s more of a traditional LB, and Robins probably wants a more attacking WB. I’m not 100% sure on the timescales of our players returning.
