Yep. Experienced, knows the club inside out, the manager knows him really well, it is now League Two he will be playing in, so a division down on when he was last here and he does get goals.
He also seems deadly keen to come.
Just worried about the knocks and injuries and AM expecting one or two head-scratching choices tomorrow, such as Maycock for Doyle or suchlike.
Thinking it may be very hard for Doyle at his age to be able to play 2 games back to back like that.
Robins did also say Ponticelli will feature, so fully expect him to be coming off from the bench.
Maybe a few youngsters to fill the bench may be in order (Maycock, Finn, Thompson)
Have to assume we will be missing
Kelly
Nazon
Willis
Would expect Kelly to maybe find his way back onto the bench first, so guessing he will still be out and we do need him fully fit.
If Nazon hurt his hip I wouldn't expect him to be recovered in time for tomorrow and I think we have to say...
Discuss the Coventry City - Chesterfield Match, tactics and predictions. :)
Can't see a thread and the game is on tomorrow. Hope you don't mind, Nick. :)
But then if we had the ways and the means we would surely be making contact with them wouldn't we?
We have been seeking out intelligent life now on other worlds for decades.
If we could fly across the universe and knew of life on other planets we WOULD be trying to make contact.
How old is the stepdaughter?
I never ever make a fuss.
I never expect anyone to cater for me. If there is no vegetarian option I just wouldn't go to that place.
I take this pub doesn't usually do vegetarian meals?
Then it was wrong from Robins to tell him to stay on wasn't it?
A player usually knows when he can no longer stay on and therefore signals to go off.
Why on two separate occasions has Mark Robins told Nazon to stay on the field when the player has signalled to come off?
I think the problem though, Pete, is that Robins was telling him to stay on. Doesn't that kind of point to the manager not believing he was that badly injured.
Not the first time he's told him to stay on either.
Yeah, well I never questioned it. I was born in Cov, so too, my mum and I always thought my dad was too. Was wrong on my dad though and now tracing my history back I reckon I really should be a Notts County supporter. Generation after generation after generation all from Nottingham.
One thing I...
It was real unfortunately.
It still makes me smile the notion of waiting all that time for a vegetarian option and then when it finally arrives they then offering me pigs in blankets to go with it.
Yep, but not the same pressure as a promotion match I wouldn't have thought. The Checkatrade was a bit of fun and relief from the league. Sure, we wanted to win it, but there wasn't that great need to win it.
The implications of promotion or non promotion are that much greater.
