US business man planning to launch bit to bring CCFC back to the ricoh

Nothing says local Coventry businessman more than having to pay in dollars!

ACL has "net value of nil"

And of course a valuation is based on a value today. Looking at things in accounts will only show a value at the point the accounts were prepared.

ACL has "net value of nil"

Pretty much, you either settle the debt or take over repayments (as long as the lender is happy with that).T hink of it in terms of the club, anyone who buys it will pay nothing (or the mythical pound as you have to actually make a payment) but the key thing is what happens with the money SISU...

ACL has "net value of nil"

You would value taking into consideration assets, liabilities and future projections. Of course it all ends up coming down to will the buyer pay what they owner wants, especially if the owner doesn't need to sell. Oddly if SISU say ACL are underperforming and they can create greater profits...

ACL has "net value of nil"

Why do CCC have a valuation for 100% of ACL in their accounts when they only own 50%? That seems an odd thing to do.

    The Mark Labowitch Thread

I would have thought that if ML had been stating things at the meetings that weren't supported by evidence that should be something reported back to the wider fanbase. ML shouldn't be able to just fire off comments with no comeback if he has no evidence to back things up.

Or to summarise what was said at the non secret meetings is actually secret.

What would have been the attendance

Sheff Utd, Wolves and Walsall would have been decent attendances. Other than that I'd expect much the same as last season. The problem we have is we've got a habit of doing OK till Xmas and then tailing off badly, the result is a decent start to the season doesn't create a bump in crowds...

    FOI Nuneaton&Bedworth Simon Gilbert

I wonder if Nuneaton Town have thought about what would happen if they got promoted to the FL at some point in the near future. We know their ground isn't up to league standard, would they consider a joint venture or being a tenant of SISU / CCFC? Might be worth the Telegraph speaking to them to...

Next to Nuneaton Town? Well that would rule that one out you'd think. Any other possible sites. It can't be that hard to work out likely sites of that size.

To try and steer things back toward topic what potential sites are there in the N&BC area? There's the one the CET ran a couple of articles on that most people seemed to rule out due to issues with planning permission and access. There looks to be some free land right next to Nuneaton Town. Any...

    Moussa

Maybe when its said he's been offered a new contract the new offer is a lot lower than the old one and he's pissed off.

Hang on a minute. For the last few days you've been stating that who players sign for is totally based on who offers the most money.

Why is Ricoh bowl not used?

Possibly the more sensible course of action would be for that person to contact Higgs and find out if they accept single substantial amounts which is very different to having people out in the street collecting and constant fund raising.

Why is Ricoh bowl not used?

They've also been offered a rolling 10 year lease and its been demonstrated previously that taking that and then paying off the balance of the term when the new ground is finished would be better financially than playing at Sixfields.

Why is Ricoh bowl not used?

They've been offered a 3 year deal with the first year at a lower rate to offset any payment contractually owned to Northampton.

A note on the website would suffice. If you've announced something as happening and then have decided it won't, for whatever reason, it's courteous to inform people. If you don't you leave yourself open to accusations of failing to follow through on your promises or having something to hide.
