    Ricoh Arena bosses overcharge again

The key for me is how much it was going to cost ACL. If it was going to cost them £10K then as much as they've lost the business you could argue its a good commercial decision. If it was going to cost them £1K then they've messed this up and lost out as a result.

martin kelman abandons his bid to bring sky blues home

Speaking of which that's all gone a bit quiet hasn't it, what happened to the promised manifesto?

SCG Minutes via Coventry City Mad

I went to the charity game and I don't know when all this stuff about Joe being welcomed like some sort of God happened as I certainly didn't see it. I went for various reasons: I was in Cov visiting my family, Hucks was playing and he's one of my favourites and it was for charity. There was...

    Ricoh Arena bosses overcharge again

My understanding was the £400K figure was first mentioned by Fisher in one of his CWR appearances as an acceptable / average rent. When it was offered it was £400K + matchday costs at which point he said that wasn't really £400K as it needed to be that level inclusive of matchday which led to...

    Ricoh Arena bosses overcharge again

Are they the same or should they be the same? If they are all fixed costs and both offers cover exactly the same things as matchday costs then you could reasonably expect them to be the same. I'm sure ACL could make an affordability argument, if ticket prices suddenly shot up they could argue...

    Ricoh Arena bosses overcharge again

Would depend on what you were including as matchday costs. If you were comparing 2 deals where the matchday costs were covering the same items, and all those costs were fixed rate rather than variable according to attendance then yes you would expect matchday costs to stay the same. Of course...

    Ricoh Arena bosses overcharge again

For all we know the stewards were paid for by CCFC as it was a permanent deal with 25ish games per season. For a one off or occasional game isn't it more likely that staff are provided rather than the hirer having to provide their own staff. We don't know and that of course is the big problem...

If the Higgs share is worth &6.5 million

Sure he must have a friend who lives in the city and can ask for him.

    Charity Value of its share

I'm don't think it was recent, think it was before the JR was started by SISU causing everyone to shut up.

If the Higgs share is worth &6.5 million

Not really a question anyone is going to be able to answer is it? Why don't you ask your councillor? For all we know they've tried to and Higgs have said no!

    Charity Value of its share

If you have a dig around on here I think PWKH has mentioned it before when someone was claiming Ricoh would terminate their contract due to the club not being there.

    £20m to buy Acl

Would you generally expect a company to release details like that as and when they happen? I would have though it being in the accounts was correct. Do other companies make a big deal of announcing it when a contract ends for any reason? The naming rights isn't a big secret, Ricoh extended to...

    Fit and proper?

If Higgs had withdrawn their claim wouldn't it have needed SISU to also withdraw their claim?

If the Higgs share is worth &6.5 million

Was that after the rent strike? Would non payment have rent have voided the right to purchase the share? Or was it just done on the basis that the Higgs would hold onto it until the club were ready to buy and not sell to a third party without that ever being formalised.

    Fit and proper?

Is that it? Not really worth getting worked up about is it? Paragraph 1 is what many people on here would agree with, the club and stadium being part of the same company (or group of companies). Paragraph 2 is a statement of SISUs position, and seems in line with what they have said, at least...

If the Higgs share is worth &6.5 million

Did the right to purchase the share owned by the company now being liquidated preclude it from being sold to anyone else?

Is anyone actually going to let is know what he said?

    How much is CCFC worth?

£1, the club is worthless. The customer base has disappeared, the club is performing at it's lowest level in most peoples living memory with virtually no assets and huge debts. If it was anything but a football club it wouldn't be in existence anymore. The key is what someone is prepared to pay...

    £20m to buy Acl

I would imagine if they have been paid up front that would be factored in to any offer.
