    You couldn’t make it up!!

Doesn’t Costa Rica plant enough trees every year deliberately to off set the carbon footprint of tourism to the country? If that’s right her holiday was carbon neutral. Sure I remember reading that some time ago.

    You couldn’t make it up!!

Caught out doing what? Owning a car? Like I’ve just pointed out, if she owns a second hand diesel car and doesn’t live in the middle of a large town or city she probably already owns the greenest car for her own personal circumstances.

    You couldn’t make it up!!

If you want to see a hypocrite no one out doo’s old Boris. Telling us all we’ve got to be green and then flew to Cornwall for a photo opp, having previously flown to Hartlepool for a by election appearance. Apparently broken the ministerial code for the latter also.

    You couldn’t make it up!!

I think if she eats meat she’d be more hypocritical. It’s still not really a gotcha though. It is impossible for anyone to complain about climate change and not be a hypocrite. Simply by being alive you have a carbon footprint. It’s very difficult in the modern age to live without a car...

    New stadium

I think there’s a chance we’ll end up doing something Warwick Uni just not a stadium. New training ground and academy seems possible. Joint venture with with the uni, club funding coming from the sale of Ryton for housing plus grants.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

I see that the government has given Ian Botham a job as a trade envoy to Australia. Probably the worst example of giving a celebrity an official role by a government since a government put Jimmy Savile in charge of 2 hospitals. Also the tories.

The Very Curious Case of Julian Assange

I think the law is pretty clear isn’t it? Wether you agree with it or not the US has the right to appeal, previous behaviour shows Assange to be a flight risk so he stays incarcerated until the appeal process is done.

    Where will we finish

We’ve had a great start but it’s a long season. I think we’ve seen enough in the first four games to see we’ve progressed but I can’t see us sustaining our fantastic start. Comfortable top half finish feels more than achievable and who knows maybe fighting for a place in the playoffs.

The Very Curious Case of Julian Assange

Isn’t he being detained while the US appeal extradition? Not sure the yanks are interested in Pitchfork.
