My Dad's the same, he's stopped going and has very little interest now. But are they people who would not be going anyway. A debatable point I would suggest. If done right and presented as a bright future for the club (with evidence not just soundbites) could people be persuaded back?

Do you think Wasps are going to give us 365 day revenue at the Ricoh? You can't put a figure on it due to the geographical layout of the country. You use common sense which seems to be a difficulty for a lot of people on here. If we moved to Leicester, Birmingham, Wolverhampton etc that would...

This has already been mentioned to day and I don't think it in any way answers the question I want an answer to. I want to know if CCC offered CCFC the same deal they offered Wasps. I can't imagine Fisher giving any other answer at this point. What comment did you expect "I've spectacularly...

I find that a very odd stance to take. If SISU came out and clearly evidenced that it is the only option for the survival of the club and the new stadium will be as close as possible to the city boundary why would supporters refuse to go. Just seems odd to me.

Doesn't work like that in practice, or should the council bin anything they do that doesn't' impact everyone in the city?

    Happy Christmas

I'd be exceptionally happy if this time next year all we're talking about is football and 2015s crappy CCFC Xmas jumpers

And that will be down to SISU so god help us! If they present a coherent argument for the new stadium and put everything in place to make the new stadium accessible and welcoming (dare I say it look at what Wasps have done) then I would expect the majority of the 8K who are turning up now to go...

Excellent news that the Ricoh is back on the market and available for us to buy. I was under the impression that they played in Falmer but seeing as you're just going to ignore any factual evidence that doesn't support your argument it's not really an issue. Are you deliberately missing the...

    Christmas truce?

This is not an exhaustive list just off the top of my head: 1) oppose franchising of any team in any sport, provide support and advise to the trust of any team who are being treated with such a move. 2) work with all stakeholders in a professional manner to the advantage of supporters no...

How is it franchising building a stadium of the closest viable site to the city? Franchising would be if we moved to Manchester or something similar, nobody is suggesting SISU are about to do that. Are Grimsby a franchise, how about Man Utd or Brighton?

The distance is not immaterial that's a ridiculous statement. Wasps moving 100 miles from their home several impacts the ability on a large section of their supporters being able to attend, moving a couple of miles down the road does not. There's several football clubs that play slightly outside...

I think the trust should make it very clear they are against franchising and encourage all supporters not to endorse it by attending Wasps games. The only hope we have of ever gaining an ownership stake in the Ricoh is if Wasps plan fails so the less people attending the better. Exactly the same...

Merry Xmas to everyone. 2015 will be our year, we must be due a good year by now!

That first line sums up to me everything that is wrong with the trust. SISU didn't sell the Ricoh to a franchise rugby team from London, CCC & Higgs did yet there is no mention of them or any blame apportioned to them These caveats and string were projects to be more involved in the community...

    Fugazi

You have no way of knowing that if ACL misses a payment CCC would foreclose. You have no way of knowing if there is something in the deal between Wasps, CCC and Higgs that, for example, allows a certain level of arrears to be built up before any action is taken. This is more important now than...

    New Stadium Announcement

This is why I have repeatedly said SISU need to present a business case, with financial projections for a new stadium and compare it against an obtainable rental deal - I would suggest using the current deal as the basis for that. I won't blindly accept anything but equally we need something...

    Kirkland coming back!!'

Sounds like his injury problems are behind him but you'd def want a pay to play element in any contract he is offered. Obviously not a long term solution but if we could get 2 or 3 years out of him would be a good move and give some breathing space to bring someone else though if Burge isn't the...

    Statement by Councillor Ann Lucas

To me that is a lesser question. SISU are a hedge fund, they don't have any responsibility to this city or its citizens. CCC on the other hand do and therefore should have, at the very least, given SISU the opportunity to match the Wasps deal.
