I think he’s currently on suicide watch isn’t he? Sadly the fact that someone like Ian Huntley is still breathing after almost 20 years in prison doesn’t bode well for another prisoner getting to him. I think Huntley has attacked more prison officers than times he’s been attacked himself by...

He’s a convicted sex offender and ex police officer. He’ll live his life out in solitary rarely mixing with other prisoners. They’ll be little opportunity for other prisoners to get to him.

That’s the danger. But lying to the queen to illegally prorogue parliament to stop the wheels of democracy also shouldn’t be allowed to go unpunished. We’re truly in the realms of nothing is sacred anymore.

We need a written constitution enshrined in law too. The current gentleman’s agreement only works if the ruling party behaves gentlemanly. To be clear I’m not just talking about the current government. Would have been nice if we’d had a written constitution when Blair presented his dodgy dossier...

We’re also replacing the pigs we can’t butcher with imported butchered pork. So twice as many pigs will end up being slaughtered to fill the same food chain. It’s absolutely about animal welfare, you’re being very ignorant (probably deliberately) about it.

We also left Europe’s internal energy market when we left the EU. That wasn’t a requirement of brexit it was an ill informed political decision by our government. What that does mean is that if energy is low in the EIM’s member countries whether that is gas or electricity EIM’s members have to...

Yeah it’s silly. We’re apparently the windiest county in Europe with one of the longest coastlines, I think we’re about fifth in Europe for renewables which although good it could be a lot better given our natural resources and natural ability of a long coastline to utilise that.

About 6% of our consumption over a year comes through France. It’s not just about availability though. Part of the the recent hike in the cost of electricity was down to a fire at one end of the cable that links the french and uk grids. It’s estimated that this fire on its own interrupted the...

It’s a member of the the french cabinet that said it not Frances equivalent to Desmond Swayne. You’re right though, it is about fishing. Refreshing to see a government who doesn’t sell the fishing industry up the river having promised the opposite.
