    Council Hearing Match Thread

Do you actually understand the process they've been through? Not having a go BTW! SISU made the complaint and Goacher came in to do an independent report. That report then went to a council committee, of which I think all but one member was Labour, and based on that report they delivered their...

No they didn't. They concluded he hadn't failed to register his interests. They didn't say we'll let him off as other councils work differently, they claimed it never happened.

You need to keep reading as the next lines are: O'Connor: I don't know whether Bob Ainsworth would come out in public and say that Mutton: Maybe not but I would because it is absolutely true

You couldn't get something much more black and white than that. He was supposed to declare something, he didn't. It was highlighted in the independent report. Then the committee, made up largely of Labour councillors, conclude he didn't fail to register his interests. For me once you see that...

What is noticeable is all those have one things in common. They are one political party attacking another.

But look at what he said. The Ainsworth comments from Parliament are quoted. O'Connor then states that would have been said under parliamentary privilege. O'Connor: I don't know whether Bob Ainsworth would come out in public and say that Mutton: Maybe not but I would because it is absolutely...

In that case Mowbray should tell someone like Ricketts to keep an eye on him and keep reminding him during the game.

    Rochdale attendance

If the weather is as bad as the forecast I can see a big drop. After two terrible performances it won't take much to put the walk ups off. Fear it could even drop under 10K

    The real issue...

Not sure about that. Its not like we're playing well and having attack after attack but teams are parking the bus against us. It does look like the same players. They seem totally disinterested.

Could a change of manager save our season?

I can't imagine a professional sportsman who is playing week in week out in a team chasing promotion wanting to leave. Something has gone on so the question is do we believe Mowbray that he was a disruptive influence.

Has he been told to do this though? And if he hasn't why haven't any of the coaches told him to stop as its putting the team under pressure?

    Passion, Aggression and Fight

There seems to be no fight in the team at all. Like they are just going through the motions. Not sure how professional sportsmen can put in a performance like they did at the weekend and then do the same thing days later. Any other team you'd expect to see a reaction from.

BBC News: Doctors urge schools to ban tackling in rugby

If you look at other sports like american football and ice hockey until you reach a relatively senior level there is no contact. Rugby should really be the same. How many school PE teachers are qualified to detect and treat concussions?

Barnsley (away) match thread Tuesday 7.45pm

Of course we shouldn't write them off, we are still in 6th. But it now seems week after week where we are saying we must win the next match to get things back on track and we don't. We're been really lucky with other results but the gap has been getting smaller and smaller.
