    Wayward Pines

Season 2 starts 25th May in the states. Without wanting to give too much away for those who avoid spoilers it sounds like it follows on from shortly after the first season finished and there will be some returning characters.

There's a lot of hair brained people to pick from! I can see not buying a site like that, with no planning permission, contamination etc, until you knew it would be of use but then someone should have spotted the option was ending and either purchase or extend the option.

    Seppala at the SCG Meeting...

Who drew the budget up, Waggott? That would explain why he disappeared and also would explain the rush to sell Maddison when we were all under the assumption that we were above the break even level.

Automatic. As much as I'd love a day out at Wembley with City its a terrifying prospect. Does the team that hammered Bury and Gills turn up or the team from the last two games?

Back to being the biggest club in Coventry?

Seems a lot of effort being made by someone who just happens to live near the Ricoh but isn't interested in Wasps or us!

They seem to be keen to present a narrative showing a tenancy at the Ricoh as a viable option. The question is have they formed this view independently or has it been presented to them by either Wasps or the football club?

From what I remember CCFC had an agreement to buy the site of British Gas but didn't purchase at that point, presumably to get planning permission, funding for build etc in place first. Richardson then agreed the deal with Tesco to lease part of the site to them upon its completion. Not...

That's always been Richardson's stance. He has maintained that should be classed as investment by CCFC in contrast to £10m put in by the council.

The FA have acted quickly and taken action against Sunderland. They've given them an England match as part of the Euro warm ups

£59.4m went towards the Ricoh according to the completion report. No idea what happened to the rest.

    Council Hearing Match Thread

OK lets assume you pick and choose what you believe, for a start then it is far from cut and dried that ACL were correct to put the club into administration. It was their assessment of Fishers words. However if you looked at the situation objectively it was incredibly unlikely that liquidation...

Richardson has always maintained that he did the deal directly with Tesco and that the £66.5m generated should therefore be considered to be an investment from CCFC. When it went tits up the original plan was for the club and the council to each own 50% of the freehold. The council then, very...

Of course some of what he says is correct but the fact remains people pick and choose what they believe. ACL used the liquidation comment as a reason to put is into administration. Realistically SISU were never going to put us into liquidation - they would have lost everything.

    Surprise, surprise....

I think you're mixing up different issues. People can quite easily not want Wasps here and hope that at some point in the future they go while at the same time accepting we may have them as our landlords for the foreseeable future. Most people have always accepted we don't actually need to own...

Absolutely this. For example we've had years of banging on about a new runway in London, why is nobody saying forget that and expand Birmingham airport? Same with HS2, every time it is talked about it is how it will be quicker to get to London, why not the reverse?

Ignoring immigration or any political issue its quite simple. If you are adding x amount to the population every year but are not creating x in new housing then you've got a problem. Simple supply and demand will push prices up. There's more than one area that needs to be addressed. We need to...

Slightly different topic but I was reading earlier this week that for the first time in history for the average worker to be able to afford to retire they now need to keep working and paying into a pension past the average life expectancy.

Here's what Fisher was saying shortly before ACL applied to put the club into administration.

But for money to exist in the system it doesn't have to be physically printed. If you think about it when you get paid a number appears on your bank balance, you don't get handed a bunch of notes. It then goes out to pay various bills. Of course you could go to the bank and draw it all out in...
