    Council Hearing Match Thread

The difference is CCC are a publicly accountable body who should abide by certain codes of conduct. The same can't be said of SISU, their only requirement is not to break the law.

Nothing to see here! Apparently the only reason they weren't made available is that it takes so long for the council to get anything scanned! Someone's been dispatched to go and make photocopies for those in attendance.

Because I was listing who was on the panel, Sloan is not on the panel. I didn't list SISU's lawyers, or the council's PR people who are in attendance either and will no doubt be involved.

    Council Hearing Match Thread

Nothing to do with what Joy does or doesn't want. There are many unanswered questions surrounding the sale of ACL to Wasps. An independent enquiry would give everyone, on both 'sides', a clear picture of exactly what happened and bring to light any wrongdoing in the process. What possible reason...

But being pushed again as there has yet to be a response to it from any of the people / organisations it was addressed to.

See its a nice and transparent process then! So basically for this to move forward will need the turkeys to vote for Xmas.

An open letter has been penned, worth a read: http://coventryobserver.co.uk/news/open-letter-demands-ricoh-inquiry-and-fairer-coventry-city-deal-2992/ Can't really see anything in there anyone would object to. Personally I think an independent enquiry into the whole thing would be great.

    Who would you pick ?

Would have to be Dublin, closely followed by Hucks. Would go for Peake at the back to get them organised.

    Whilst i'm very disappointed

You're correct it has been the same for many years and is the same for many clubs. The reason people are taking issue is we are being told this season is the first season in a two year plan. How can you have a two year plan when after the first year you're basically starting again?

    Fleetwood Town (Home) Match Thread

Since we lost at Southend and entered a run of what should have been relatively easy fixtures we've only picked up 4 points out of 12 including 2 home defeats. Forget automatic, we've got no chance of play offs unless there's a big change very quickly.

FFS, we can't be losing to the likes of Fleetwood at home. We need 3 points from this.

    retro scoreboard stays!

Its not that different to this one. Just because its retro doesn't mean it has to be based on the first one we had!

    How do you bet?

Think I've only ever bet at a ground and then only on us. Needless to say I've won bugger all!

Football League still making it's own rules

Don't think they were blameless when the golden share and player contracts were moving between companies. Still hit us with a points deduction though.

Paul Fletcher : Ground Share will never work

Only way that would happen is if Wasps had cashflow issues and needed some cash short term. There would be no other reason for them to give up revenue streams for less than they make from them.

    Anyone watching the Liverpool game?

I think the same about a lot of things in the game. If they wanted to get rid of things like players surrounding the ref, diving etc then just make it an automatic red card. Would soon stop.
