To me things like this could be sorted easily. Start at the top, every PL game is televised so can be reviewed. Have every match reviewed by a different ref and if they see a dive its an automatic suspension. Same with pushing and shoving, tell the teams at the start of the season to cut it...

Can't see us being able to get close to what he'd want in wages. Would be happy to have him here though.

Players are creating their own problem here. If there wasn't so much pushing and shoving in the penalty area and people diving around then they could blame the ref but the way they carry on its no surprise some mistakes are made.

    Sunday night drinkypoos

Did they just get the sack straight away? They would win an unfair dismissal case if they did. You can't sack someone even if they turn up pissed, you have to try and help them stop drinking and follow an established disciplinary procedure. You also can't introduce testing unless the employees...

    Sunday night drinkypoos

I get the drugs bit but are they saying you can't drink at the weekend or that you can't turn up pissed?

Finishes 2-2, penalty in the 4th minute of injury time! Huge game for Spurs away at Stoke tomorrow night.

Surely they aren't going to blow it? They were 1-0 up at home to West Ham which put them 10 points clear with 4 games left. West Ham have scored in the 84th and 86th minutes to go 2-1 up. Now into injury time. And Vardy has been sent off and will now get a suspension. Tottenham 7 points...

    Travellers everywhere!

Been doing a bit of reading about this. The problem is not that they are allowed to do it but that the existing laws aren't enforced. The two issues seem to be that it is civil and not criminal. That could easily be changed. The other problem is the landowner is within their rights to forcibly...

I've watched this and I'm still not sure it isn't a wind up. Steve Davis (yes, the snooker player), is a techno DJ! http://bbc.in/1XyTbSf

Their management and PR need to get their act together. After 36 years Brian Johnson deserves more than this Angus is 61 and conservative estimates put him at $100m in the bank. Its not like they're broke, why not just retire? Can see these dates being a disaster, social media is flooded with...

    Police today

But think back to the Derby game. Straight away there was video footage and people saying it was over the top and out of order. The comment made was that 'it happens all the time'. I just don't believe that groups of police are going into pubs where there is no sign of trouble and physically...

What are they thinking. Just retire. One by one we're losing the great bands. Aerosmith doing a farewell tour next year. Pretty much only Maiden and Metallica left.

    Police today

So the police all around the country are regularly going into pubs and attacking random innocent people who are just having a quiet drink but it never makes the news?

Tudgay - New contract or not ?

Only worth keeping if Mowbray is going to play him. Think he's been a bit hard done by this season, I'd have made more use of him personally.

    Police today

I'm sure there's dodgy policemen and I'm sure there's football fans who get attacked for no reason by other teams supporters. However I've been going to games, home and away, since 86 and have never had the slightest bit of trouble with other teams fans, stewards or police. In light of that I...

That sound like it could be the Foleshill Gas Club they're talking about. If it is Millwall fans were chucking rocks through the window so it shouldn't really come as a huge surprise to them that people came out to have a go at them.

What's the benefit supposed to be anyway? Its not like players struggle to get the ball into the box and need to sneak a bit further forward.

Be very unusual if they didn't. Its normally part of your license that you have CCTV and keep the recordings for a set amount of time.

Annoys me, why doesn't the lino check and just say to the player its got to be in the right place. Some refs get so fussy about where you take a free kick of throw from but don't bother with corners.

No chance, too far behind and not long enough to make up the points.
