    Breaking transfer news

Got excited for a second and thought we'd signed someone!

Coventry Bears playing at the Ricoh

Of course, its a huge benefit for those fans who can't go to games anymore. Its a shame SISU couldn't show more consideration to us and move us 85 miles away so we can also reap those benefits.

Coventry Bears playing at the Ricoh

So you'd welcome the Oyston's taking us over then?

Coventry Bears playing at the Ricoh

    But that's different

Coventry Bears playing at the Ricoh

I'd love new owners. I wouldn't blindly support anyone coming in, we ended up with SISU as everything thought 'it can't get worse'. For example I certainly wouldn't want to be taken over by Wasps. My concern is that I can't see a great deal any new owner can do thanks to the situation the sale...

    The bonus conspiracy theory

To be fair when you're top of the league fans of most clubs would probably expect a decent chance of at least a play off place.

Coventry Bears playing at the Ricoh

Nobody is defending SISU or saying they've been great owners. Having shit owners does not give others free run to do their best to damage the future of the club or completely ignore any good that is done such as SBITC.

Coventry Bears playing at the Ricoh

In my experience a lot of those partners are more than likely doing very little other than putting their name into the project. The key question is who is driving this project forward and who is funding it. Also although there's a long list of names a lot of those organisations are already...

    Millwall Match Thread

Can see it being a low crowd today. Nothing to play for, weather isn't great and all this talk of trouble is bound to put some people off.

    Why don't people indicate anymore?

On one of the two main routes into Portsmouth there's a point where two lanes go into one. Every time I drive that way there are people desperately trying to get one car length ahead instead of filtering in turn :jerkit:

    The Next Generation

Was going to post the same. The club would be in breach of contract and any player that wanted to could walk. So why would Maddison not have just gone to Norwich and pocketed the transfer fee for himself?

    The bonus conspiracy theory

That's because every season ends the same crappy depressing way.

Coventry Bears playing at the Ricoh

Is that different to the race to the bottom?

    The bonus conspiracy theory

Think they're still working on what colour the curtains should be.

    The bonus conspiracy theory

So did someone give the players a few quid the morning of 13th Feb?

    Travellers everywhere!

But the law can be changed. And of course just because your in an ethnic group doesn't mean you can do what ever you like. If a load of buddhists decided to pitch up in someones car park and take it over they wouldn't get away with it. It can't be that hard to create a law that gives the...

    The bonus conspiracy theory

What's alleged to have happened? I would have thought every contract would be different. Each players bonus, if they even had one, would be whatever was agreed at the time they negotiated their contract wouldn't it? Is it being said they haven't been paid what they were promised?

    Travellers everywhere!

This is something that really annoys me in politics. We had 13 years of Labour blaming everything on the Tories and now we've had 6 years of the Tories blaming Labour. Just get on with fixing things! Social housing, indeed all housing, is a complete mess and there doesn't seem to be a plan to...
