As they say its a funny old game but I think we've left it a couple of weeks to late. Even in the unlikely event that we win all our remaining games I can't see others dropping enough points.

I said at the start of the season that I wanted an improvement so looking at it that way then yes, something to be happy about. However you can't ignore the abysmal drop off after we went top. Its so frustrating as just a couple of wins would see us sat in a play off position.

Over policing would be an incredibly difficult thing to prove. The police will just say there was little trouble as they had the correct policing levels or use the trouble that there was to justify the high levels.

But how do they identify you as a supporter of a particular team. I live by Fratton Park, what if we were playing Pompey and they enforced the same thing and I couldn't get a ticket, am I going to be forced to leave the city for the day?

If they hadn't gone to all this trouble it would have been in the papers and people would have forgotten about it by the next day.
