Home is Where the Heart Is

Leicester by any chance when the ground is full of visiting supporters? Not sure I'd be boasting about away fans filling the ground.

    Fisher Lost The Plot

Would we be averaging as low as 2K in L2? I'd say 4-5K would be more realistic which would put us mid-table in terms of attendances so would quite possibly be self sustaining. Of course that is only self sustaining as in can keep plodding along, not enough to mount a serious promotion push...

    Lost fans

So if SISU left you think every game would be a sell out? the 8K we currently get plus the extra 25K would be more than the capacity of the Ricoh.

    Warwickshire CCC

Think they used Stratford for a bit after Cov & Warks. I'd have them playing several county championship games at various places. There's only ever a handful of people at Edgbaston for them but when they used to play elsewhere they'd be packed as people would take a day off work.

    Warwickshire CCC

And more recently Cov & Warks. They only play at Edgbaston these days. Don't think that was the best decision but with all the money they've had to put in to development to keep tests they need to use it as much as possible.

That's fair enough. Nobody can say its great fun. However thats a long way from those who believe paying for a season ticket is funding Joys shipping trips and call those who do go scabs. Its starting to happen and unfortunately I can only see it getting worse.

Have you just posted a conversation that has taken place entirely in your head. Think we have a winner for most mental post of the year.

You've been asked before but never answered. Why can't a deal be done while SISU, not CCFC, are taking legal action against CCC, not Wasps? Even if it was CCFC taking action against Wasps plenty of companies continue to work together whilst legal action is taking place. If the legal action was...

    Fisher Lost The Plot

If you look at the accounts doesn't administrative expenses cover all outgoings other than costs directly related to turnover and wages? Given that millions can legitimately be taken out of the club to repay debt why would there be any need to try and hide money being taken out?

Anderson was in négociations with Wasps, they then decided they would no longer talk to the club. Its hardly a sign of being happy to work together.

    Fisher Lost The Plot

But if we drop to the conference, which could happen by the time the Ricoh contract ends, the Butts becomes viable. There would be a few changes needed and possibly one temporary stand but not much. You've got to imagine the cost of playing at the Butts is a fraction of playing at the Ricoh...

    Fisher Lost The Plot

The other option is not funding the club and it deteriorates much quicker and has less of a chance of a 'lucky' season.

    Fisher Lost The Plot

But at what point. It could easily be relegation this season. Then a lack of season ticket renewals leads to a big budget cut and a struggle in L2. Its not outside the realms of possibility that another relegation would follow the next season. Then, at the point at which the stadium deal is...

    Fisher Lost The Plot

But what you're missing is if Nick doesn't pay his £20 which pays for the cleaner SISU don't step in and put £20 into CCFC. Instead that £20 comes off the playing budget or a player is sold.

    Fisher Lost The Plot

Does anyone know anything about this Jas Jaspal? Just looked him up online and it looks like his main business is being liquidated and he had a falling out with the council over trying to convert a grade II listed building into student flats. None of his currently running businesses seem to...
