The Butts - CRFC Confirms it is willing to join mediation talks

No they purchased both the council and Higgs share for £2.77m each. They then extended the lease for £1m. So a total of £6.54m. But we're not talking about how much they paid we're talking about the debt. At the point Wasps took over ACL the debt was £14.4m of which they council paid back...

The Butts - CRFC Confirms it is willing to join mediation talks

Really? How much was owed to the council at the point Wasps took over compared to how much Wasps owe on the bond issue?

Portsmouth used to train in the local park, they've now moved to the local Roko. Who cares where it is as long as its the right standard. If this does happen surely its a win all round. At minimum an improvement in the current facilities there, at best in the long term you could see additional...

    Academy ground share

If the academy is moving in the pitches will be looked after by CCFC and the required improvements made. They're not just going to turn up one morning and hope for the best. Potentially there's room at Finham to move the whole thing there down the line if future owners want to put a bit of...

The Butts - CRFC Confirms it is willing to join mediation talks

Quote from the council in the CT today So doesn't sound like the "active not passive support from Coventry City Council" Fisher spoke about. Why can't the football club get the same level of assistance Wasps do with any plans. When it was them building at Higgs there were emails from the...

The indoor centre doesn't have the required facilities does it? And there's not the number of pitches required.

In your opinion will we eventually move to the Butts

Noise is pretty much a non starter. There will be an acoustic assessment, with that data it will be hard to argue against it. One issue will be how they establish the likely noise, the usual way for an application like this is to take readings at the existing stadium. The crowd at the Ricoh...

In your opinion will we eventually move to the Butts

The only opportunity would be when planning permission is applied for and any objection would have to be on valid planning grounds not just 'we don't want them next door'. It will be a lot easier to get planning permission to expand an existing stadium which they have chosen to move next door...

You ever been the first person in a stadium?

Used to get there really early at HR when I was a kid to watch all the warms ups and everything. Don't ever remember being the first though.

    Mondays meeting with Fisher

That was the reason for the deadline for the club going into admin I think. Basically he was made a pence in the pound offer but thought it was too low so didn't accept. He was then faced with either accepting or the club going into admin and him potentially getting a lot less. The key here is...

    Mondays meeting with Fisher

The full debt won't be paid off but surely Arvo are going to expect a return of at least the value of the assets they hold a charge over.

No, we need revenue access. You would have to assume that Sharp sees this as a as good, if not better, option or he wouldn't be open to the idea.
