    8th signing incoming?

Thought it was the Ricoh but that wouldn't make much sense so you're probably right.

    2019/2020 Fixtures Thread

Not the same system as last year so won't auto update with the new fixtures. You need to go on to Matches - Coventry City and hit the add fixtures to calendar link to sign up to the new service. Seems to have an option to add U23, U18 and Women's fixtures.

    non-football - MSP / Bon Jovi

If you're just dropping off / picking up and don't need to actually park at the Ricoh your best bet is Judds Lane. There's no actual drop off point as far as I know but there's places you can pull over to let them out. Or if you go to the end of Judds Lane its a dead end so you can let them out...

    SCOvARG VAR

VAR is supposed to be for clear and obvious errors, I'm not sure a lot of the decisions its being used for really come under that category.

Could just be another one of those coincidences that seem to keep occurring.

Exactly this. Instead of getting defensive and making threats he should have a think what in his behaviour makes so many people doubt his impartiality.

Is Gilbert really saying that Duggins rambling rubbish is 'much like' a brief factual statement from SISU backed up by evidence?

No doubt will be ignored as usual.

Brief and to the point but you can't really argue with the contents. Shame its down to SISU to call Duggins out on his BS when the media should be doing that job.

    8th signing incoming?

Its mad considering what the demand would be now to think that in the late 80s / 90s when I started going to games you could just turn up at places like Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea etc and pay on the gate.

Not much more to add as it was all secret! It was the meeting they voted to sell to Wasps at. Public weren't allowed in, and if I remember correctly the meeting was moved to avoid any protests, no minutes taken, no notes of any sort. Wasps were allowed to speak to the council but no other...

Agreed, why the need for Gilbert to try and whip things up. Has he not learnt from the whole 'the talks are off' fiasco? And why is this always a one way thing. SISU / CCFC can put out very specific things with emails etc as evidence and the council or Wasps don't get queried but vague...

Especially if you consider the point at which they suddenly became unanimous was a meeting Wasps were at but the public banned, and of which no record was kept. Prior to that it was being reported as being very much split.

    Wasps downward spiral...

Ticketmaster have been knocking out buy one get one free tickets for Bon Jovi at the Ricoh. Interestingly there's an article about it that's been pushed to lots of Trinity Mirror sites but doesn't seem to feature on the Telegraph site.

Yet the local media refuse to pick him up on those contradictions. Once again something the local media should be all over. If the council and Wasps are so certain they have done nothing wrong why do they appear to be so concerned about a potential EC investigation.

Nobody can be as naive as Gilbert is making himself out to be. Arguing over semantics of what happened in 2012 is a waste of time, the key point is that it was the council that approached Wasps - not the other way around. And his claim that the Telegraph did any sort of investigative journalism...

The coverage of this from local media has again been appalling. Although it is interesting that out of four pages of rambling nonsense both CWR and the Telegraph have chosen to highlight the same factually dubious statement - namely what are SISU seeking to achieve by continuing action against...

Unbelievable isn't it. I'm in nowhere near as senior a position as those two but if I made a mistake like that I'd be battling to keep my job. They get bonuses and promotions.
