If We Hadn't Got Rid of Richardson....

Yeah the old bloke who sits next to me at the Ricoh says he knows who wrote it and it's sitting in a vault waiting for Richardson to die. Apparently we don't know even half of what he was up to.

"Nothing in particular " games that linger in the memory......

An Ipswich away game in the mid 80s, Bank Holiday Monday. Can't remember the score. However, on the way we stopped at a Little Chef and these two blokes (didn't recognise them) said they would buy our lunch as they were directors of CCFC and anyone who went all that way on a Bank Holiday...

Mowbray - Difficult at the Ricoh

Not far wrong though, is he?

I don't hate him, would certainly say he fits in the "Legend" category; just think refusing to play and pull on the shirt is shit, no matter what the circumstances are. Particularly when you think how well rewarded he was.

    Dion Dublin in Coventry

BBC Article: After hearing of Villa's interest Dublin promptly rejected Blackburn's approach but has been kept waiting after City insisted they would only listen to the offer from Ewood Park.

How much have we actually improved under TM?

Which speaks volumes about our home then, doesn't it? After all, it's the same team that plays home and away. It's the Ricoh that's the problem.

Have We Been Closed Down Then?

I have to say that with CTs' CCFC stories on many occasions the headline and actual content rarely match.

We've done this before. I don't think there was a gun to his head. Refusing to play for the team that pays your wages? Nah, inexcusable for me.

SCG at the Directors meeting 02/04/15

I thought we hated him now because he signed the open letter asking for a public enquiry into the Wasps' deal?

BBC, November 1998: Dublin has already been fined two weeks' wages for refusing to play for Coventry last week, and is currently training with the Highfield Road reserves.

Jackson wants to score some goals

Guess what? Coventry City fans want Jackson to score some goals. Maybe Simon could spin an article out of those nine words?

I would just ask him if he could refund my ticket and travel costs for the Luton game.

If We Hadn't Got Rid of Richardson....

SKY BLUES fans have reacted angrily to Coventry City's latest accounts which show the club £60 million in debt. They are unhappy that the club's chairman received a bonus while the club was dropping from the Premiership into Nationwide League Division One. The Sky Blues Supporters Club said the...

If We Hadn't Got Rid of Richardson....

Yep, he was one of a few along with Robinson, McGinnity, Hover and Elliot, which is why I never want to see "Mr Coventry" back anywhere near our club once SISU eventually do depart.

If We Hadn't Got Rid of Richardson....

EDIT: If you were to replace "Bryan Richardson" with "Tim Fisher" in the article below then SBT would be in meltdown. How BR gets his "misunderstood" tag is beyond me. It’s always struck me that the acting career of the Kemp brothers from Spandau Ballet was limited by the fact that there...

If We Hadn't Got Rid of Richardson....

I'm certainly not saying McGinnity was an innocent little lamb, but he certainly didn't start the ball rolling and 15 years down the line we are in a perilous position because of Richardson.

It was, ours was 125%. And every other club didn't have their ground sold on a pipe dream (nightmare!) by their Chairman.
