If We Hadn't Got Rid of Richardson....

Exactly! We were in trouble four months after moving into the Ricoh. Shameful, what Richardson did to our club. And I'm amazed so many think he isn't "the only bad guy". Saints alive!

If We Hadn't Got Rid of Richardson....

A sell-out 22K every week in the Premiership could EASILY have happened if we had stayed put. We could have redeveloped like we did with the East Stand. The Ricoh is the single biggest mistake of our history and will prove to be our undoing. Meanwhile Richardson is sipping cocktails somewhere...

If We Hadn't Got Rid of Richardson....

Richardson created the debts in the first place though. There wouldn't have been anything for McGinnity to wipe out if it wasn't for Richardson.

If We Hadn't Got Rid of Richardson....

McGinnity and SISU were/are bad but Richardson tops the lot for me. Although the aforementioned carried the mantel he started the whole thing off by getting rid of HR. Not to mention the wages paid, the team of Hondurans, the salary he paid himself which was more than the Premier League...

    Adrian Heath......MANAGES KAKA!

Wrong way round. Adrian Heath is a kaka manager.

    The low down on ARVO

Yes, chicken and egg, however that drastic decision (despite all her "a club shouldn't be ripped from its community" nonsense), will still be dragging us down long after SISU have disappeared. In fact, we might never recover.

    The low down on ARVO

Totally agree, which is why I think the Wasps decision will affect us more more than SISUs tenure ever will.

    The low down on ARVO

Weird, on one hand you're saying that the current situation isn't viable but it MIGHT be, yet on the other you say a new stadium NEVER will be. Blinkered thinking to the extreme. It's my way or the highway, eh? I will throw it back at you, just because a new stadium might not make financial...

    The low down on ARVO

So what does make financial sense? How will the club survive long term at the Ricoh and thrive, not just exist?

    The low down on ARVO

This one for a start: Paying over a million pounds a year to rent a piece of grass with little income will be the death of this club. The failure of Wasps (fingers crossed) or a "potential" new stadium may well save us.* DISCLAIMER: I don't necessarily think a new stadium will ever be built...

    The low down on ARVO

It's not hypothetical really though, is it? Under the old deal we would have paid £52M for the life of the lease just to rent with very little revenue. Who knows what the new deal will be? As Dave points out you are very trusting of Wasps. And some of your claims are laughable.

    The low down on ARVO

We'll now always be in debt to someone. Hardly breaking news.

Time to turn around the home form

Obviously, there's no guarantee but it would certainly help. Apart from the Gillingham game the atmosphere has been shocking.

Time to turn around the home form

I've been in my same seat in the North Stand for ten years since we moved there but would move for the last three games if asked to. We did choose new seats for the Gillingham game as we were told the North was closing, then we moved back for the Y game after they changed their minds. No...
