    Things that annoy you

'on the school run' How has this become part of the working day? Since people started working from home it seems to have become completely acceptable to turn up an hour late in the morning and then take another 45 minutes to an hour off in the afternoon. Given we work an 8 hour day we've got...

Fans back in stadia by Xmas?

If you sat near the half way line at the Ricoh you'd be used to no singing or clapping.

This doesn't read well from the governments perspective. https://article39.org.uk/2020/11/24/court-of-appeal-rules-education-secretary-acted-unlawfully-in-removing-safeguards-for-children-in-care/

Where have you seen confirmation of the rules in place at Xmas? Hancock has just told a select committee he doesn't know what they will be yet and there's a cobra meeting scheduled for this afternoon to discuss it.

Fans back in stadia by Xmas?

Think we all know that sitting outdoors and maintaining social distancing has been safe for months yet they've insisted it not go ahead. To make the change now seems the worst possible time. We're coming out of a lockdown and need to ensure numbers don't go back up and we also have Christmas...

    New Stadium Announcement!!!!!!

The stations primary purpose is to service the new housing in the area and the university. Aren't the restrictions at the Ricoh to do with a lack of capacity on trains and therefore concerns about station overcrowding, made worse by the fact its an station with no staff? Hopefully any station...

Reminds me of when they changed the rules here about what they would and wouldn't collect, how frequent collections were etc. Was then a huge increase in fly tipping which the council claimed was totally unrelated!

    New Stadium Announcement!!!!!!

Would be sensible to have it in the same place as the train station wouldn't it and have it as an interchange? Train station is further south on Kenilworth Road than I thought. Wonder if the idea is to have a pedestrian route by HS2 and A46 relief road to stop any complaints from Gibbet Hill...

    New Stadium Announcement!!!!!!

My mistake, missed the key looking on my phone so went off the blurb that came with it from the local nimbys. Thought the relief road was proposed to run parallel to HS2 for that section? Bit odd to leave the route for the road off a map inviting people to a meeting about the road! Sure I've...

Fans back in stadia by Xmas?

Would assume if there's any doubt it will just be a no. We'll have to wait and see what is being done to stop fans moving around the country in general. How are they going to allocate tickets and ensure they only end up in the hands of people who don't need to travel?

    New Stadium Announcement!!!!!!

Looks like the A46 strategic link road won't be finalised until next year as the meeting dates to discuss the options are 17th December and 7th January. Given the Uni have previously said the location of the stadium, and public consultation, will follow confirmation of the exact routing and...

    The Trust Survey

We've been here before with surveys and canvassing members opinions only for the responses to be ignored when they weren't what was wanted. Can only hope this time is different so I've filled it in again and we'll wait and see what happens. The "It is in the best interests of the club that CCFC...

Interesting point about the numbers now compared to when the plug was pulled on test events.

Fans back in stadia by Xmas?

How on earth are they going to maintain the level of social distancing we've seen in other countries when they've started letting fans back in and have 50% capacity? Was listening to the owner of an NHL hockey team and he said they've modelling needing to leave a minimum of 2 seats in every...

    Things that annoy you

I get this all the time. One of our major clients is a company that gets a lot of large government contracts. Inevitably they are all poorly delivered and hugely over budget but that doesn't seem to stop them getting future contracts. The "middle management" issue has got way worse in the...

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

Not sure there's any big conspiracy to suppress good news. Think its more likely that those responsible for getting articles up on various news websites quickly don't have the knowledge to fully understand a press release that isn't in an easy to understand format.

    Wasps rescued again

Do you really see clubs like Tranmere as competitors to the likes of Liverpool? Wouldn't they more accurately be a supplier, they produce players, a product purchased by the PL clubs and essential to their ongoing operation. To use the Amazon analogy how would their sales be if their suppliers...
