Sadly scraps of information and half truths seem to be all that we have to work with. For me, the issue is that Sisu/Otium's business strategy makes little or no sense if taken at face value, consequently we are left to try to work out their "true" plans using the said scraps and half truths...

Could you please ask Mr Fisher why his independent non-executive Director apparently told the Guardian that Otium valued the Ricoh at circa £4m and yet he has told us that Otium plan to build a smaller stadium (just over half the size?) for £25m? Is one of these statements incorrect, or if not...

Given that SISU are happy to spend £25m on building a circa 16-18,000 capacity stadium, logically they should have no problem in making an attractive offer to buy the 32,000 capacity Ricoh.

Excellent and interesting. Perhaps the recent offer from ACL seeks to answer this. After all, if SISU did win the JR and then sought to pursue an additional action for damages - it would seem a pretty good defence to say - you had the option to come back rent free but chose to stay at...

Sadly I think there's a lot of truth in that - and that doesn't auger well for a happy resolution.

Agree - copy the offer to the FL, but why not send it direct to SISU?

ML was very clear in saying that no such offer had been made "directly" to the club. It would seem an odd adverb to use unless it was there to avoid admitting that an offer had been made via a third party.

I think that "pledges" is a bit strong. I think that most people would accept that statements made during negotiations have to be "taken with a pinch of salt". The question is whether both sides are prepared to do a "reasonable" deal, in which case it will probably happen - or whether one...

I think that they had the power to intervene back in the summer - however, having given SISU permission to play at Sixfields I think that they've emasculated themselves. You can just imagine it - they try to put pressure on SISU, SISU say "you gave us permission and if you try to go back on...

The only "hurdle" is SISU.

I find this all very confusing..... According to ML the club was "bled dry" by paying £1.2m in rent per annum, yet according to some on here the loss of much more than this in revenue foregone will have no impact whatsoever. Shome mishtake shurely.......
