I love both EMC and Haji, but they could both do with doing some extra homework on the offside rule. Haji in particular appears almost oblivious to it.

It should obviously have been included, but the extended highlights is mostly the short highlights but with each incident repeated 5 times 🤷‍♂️. Plus a lingering shot of the Horners.

A fair point, similar to what shmmeee said about allowing quick free kicks. The other team has committed an offence, why should you be prevented from taking it as soon as you want?

I don't think speed is really his weapon. He's strong and tricky, can go both sides and is a genuine threat that the opposition always have to cover. Also very competitive in winning the ball. He's a real asset to the squad, and I think he's unlucky not to have more goals to his name.

Yeah nobody has committed an offence they need to be punished for, it's just getting the ball back into play after it's gone out. I am also very sceptical that the existing rules are even being applied. People are clearly striding and chucking it off one foot.

It needn't completely eliminate the tactic, just require people to get on with it in a reasonable time. Depends how long you allow of course, but some of them do seem to take ages, and is that time added on at the end?

Baffling to see multiple negative comments about EMC across various threads on here, including criticisms of workrate and awareness. Such a fine player, and I'm always very happy to see him on the team sheet.
