But ultimately Robins was right, as we were Champions last season. Bristol were nowhere near, so perhaps had we built our system around him he might of scored goals but we wouldn't of been promoted. Was never a fan myself. Was a big signing in League 2 (on loan) but Biamou & McNulty were the...

    Aidy Boothroyd

Out of all the managers we've had since relegation from the Premier League, I acutally quite liked Boothroyd. He made us much tougher and brought some decent players into the team (Keogh, King).. We had some rough injuries which curtailed our form, and I thought he was unlucky to be dismissed to...

    Pask v Da Costa

Da Costa. Although he was poor against Wycombe on Saturday, he offers more going forward. Pask is a centre back by trade and I would like to see him get a chance in the back 3. Think people are jumping the gun on Da Costa. He's only started 2 or 3 games, new country, being injured for half...

Which players would you keep for next season?

yep as Walker would command a fee. Which could help bringing in that No 1 striker we need. Tavares is a development player and Biamou would go on a free.

Which players would you keep for next season?

Marosi (as No 2) Rose McFadz Dabo DaCosta Reid Kelly Sheaf Eccles O’Hare J. Jones Godden Biamou (back up striker) I’d sell Walker and bring in a no 1 striker, with Godden as no 2. Biamou and Tavares as back up. Wilson, Shipley, Allen, Hyam, Pask, Jobello, Kastanerr, Hilsner all to be...

Marosi Dabo Osti Hyam McCallum Kelly Sheaf DaCosta Hamer O'Hare Godden DaCosta and Dabo down the right could be useful. O'Hare and Hamer to support Godden. Bring Biamou on 2nd half when Godden tires

    Wilson

I remember in his handful games last season he dropped some real clangers, on top of that, the mistake against Rangers in pre season. He looked a total liability. I was fearing the worst when he came in after MM's injury. He did better than I expected I've got to say, but had a lot of luck...

    Player Ratings v Luton

Biamou wasn't great, but he caused them problems and once he went off we were worse for it. His first chance was just plain unlucky. 2nd was poor admitedly, and the 3rd got deflected. He was MOM in our last game, and now is deemed absolutely crap. Of course Godden & Walker are the main...

I apologise for saying Matty James flatters to deceive

Decent player, but I think Sheaf and Kelly are too, and we really only 1-2 of them to start per game. It was a strange signing, as we had Sheaf, recalled Eccles (who were both fit) and Kelly was due back in February. He should used the money to loan one attacking midfielder in from the Premier...

    Match Thread Wycombe

I feel Sheaf helps us control posession and since he lost his place we seem to have been hitting the longer ball, which invariably goes straight to the opponents. I agree he is not a player to bring on when you're chasing a game, but I would be tempted to start him on Saturday.

Wilson makes me nervous, Marosi doesn’t. + he’s been letting in some fucking soft goals recently discounting tonight’s shit show

If The Worst Was To Happen...Relegation

I presume Robins would stay, and most would be OK with that. What would our squad look like though? I would imagine we could keep most of them, except Hamer, O'Hare & possibly Walker. Doubt we'd sign Sheaf either. Based on that, and the squad we have this season, this doesn't look a bad X1...

    Tyler Walker

Has Godden even had the chance to play in a two yet though? He was the best of all our forwards in playing up front on his own. scored good goals against Bristoil, Reading, QPR etc etc. While it would be wrong to pin all hopes on him, he is our best forward.

    Match Thread Middlesbrough ("H") - Tues 2nd March - 19:00 KO - St. Andrews

We were playing good stuff midway through the 2nd half and Boro were pinned back, but we didn’t carve out any real opportunities. I knew then Boro would nick it, and let’s be fair that’s what they did., nick it. Just cannot understand Robins not changing the front two at some point, or giving...

    Sheaf

I like Sheaf. Touch of class about him, and think he could be a top player. Hope we do sign him. Matty James has done a job, but I wouldn't be going after him come the end of the season (if we stay up). He'll want big wages, has a spotty injury record, and I think we have enough with Sheaf...

We look fairly solid and DaCosta and McCallum are looking dangerous but front 2 giving little. Not sure how we change that to be honest.

What was your favourite ever season watching city in the league

Really enjoyed 1992/1993. After the woeful 91/92 season where our biggest achievement was five 0-0's in a row, Bobby Gould brought a bit of fun back. Ndlouv was now a regular, and of course John Williams the flying postman, and Phil Babb were signed. The emergence of Lee Hurst as a gifted...

He’s been disappointing for awhile but was excellent on Sat. There’s no real competition for his place, but hopefully Reid will be in the squad soon.

Least favourite Opposition player this season

Steve Cook. Going down like a softie, then acting the hard man when Hamer got angry. Twat. Also that long haired Cardiff centre back
