You can think the original reports in the FT etc were fine but think the Telegraph having a rolling news feed showing you photos of 4 cars queuing at a petrol station in Cov while announcing another in Sussex is closed is a poor standard of reporting and contributing...

There was nothing wrong with the original report. It was factually accurate and had quotes from BP explaining exactly what was happening and what the cause was. You can't stop the media report things because of how people react. If you go down that route who decides what can and can't be reported?

All I can tell you is there's a garage at the bottom of my road and when I went past it about 6:30pm there were queues in every direction to get in. They'll be disappointed when they reach the front of the queue as the pumps are closed :confused:

People don't trust the government when they say there's no shortage of toilet roll, food, fuel etc yet keep voting them in. The very fact the government is having to assure people they will have food to eat and the lights won't go out should be enough to ring alarm bells.

They keep sending out ministers spouting the line that its down to covid not Brexit but the number one thing being requested by the Road Haulage Association is relaxation of visa requirements so they can get drivers in from Europe.
