A thought on Tavares. Didn't see much of him from an attacking sense apart from a decent cross. However, I liked the way he kept the width and felt he did a good defensive job, good pressing and recovery runs. Played a part in the clean sheet. Better in that regard than Wright and Palmer.

Thomas and Binks were excellent. Simms ran his socks off. Dasilva another decent performance. Latibeudiere must be close to a record as captain?

Robins is very reluctant to use youth players. They are not going to be near the same level but if a very good player is not playing well and looks out on his feet, I wish he would bring on some youth for last 10.

Wow, fortunate there. Too many errors. Decent point in the end. Can't fault the effort. Latibeudiere led the effort. Gives it everything. Van Ewijk needs a rest.

Decent first half without creating many clear cut chances. Torp needs to release the ball earlier. Think Sakamota would make a real impact. I wish we had managed to buy Whittaker. Very quick and lively. Latibeudiere has done well in midfield again. Thomas the standout player.

    Something urgent needs to happen

This one to me is more obvious for intent than the Allen one.

Thought Latibeudiere was excellent second half, breaking up everything. What was lacking in midfield first half. Wright was very good second half. Best 45 minutes from him. Simms battled well.

Don't agree that Latibeudiere has been bullied. He seems to be the only player who can win a header. I hope Collins stops slowing the game down.

Unfortunately there are some constants - Wright missing absolute sitters and getting caught offside needlessly. Van Ewijk committing to headers he is never going to win, leaving space in behind. I would be inclined to bring Kelly on to prevent us being so open defensively and Bidwell on as not...

Much prefer Bidwell to Dasilva. However Dasilva will have staked a claim after his midweek performance. Also would feel for Latibeudiere being dropped but think Thomas will come in. If Van Ewijk needs a rest, then maybe Joel will move across.

I have previously been critical of Dasilva but what a beautiful cross that was fir Wright. And what an assist for Kasey Palmer. Who says he has no end product?!

Wright has just come back from a groin injury and we are short of options. Not sure we have seen enough of Tavares to judge whether he can be a decent squad player or not.

We are likely to need Kelly and Tavares in the weeks ahead so I would be looking to start both and get 60 minutes out of them. Maybe get Torp up to the 75 minute mark. Have a couple of youngers on the bench - maybe Stretton for one.

Torp played well but keeping him on would have risked injury, given his lack of match fitness. Although Allen wasn't great, you can guarantee his work rate, which we needed, especially with 10 men. If I remember rightly, our results were not good last season when Allen was captain. He doesn't...

At least Palmer added some energy and endeavour. That is what you want from a player coming off the bench. He tried to force it a few times rather than play a percentage pass, however he looked far more of a threat than Wright and Simms. I would move Palmer up front. I think he would cause teams...

Threw that away. Some very ineffective performances. Wright should have buried his chance to make it 2-0. Many people doubt Tavares but I cannot imagine he would be as poor on the ball as Wright. Some of his play is nowhere near Championship standard. Thomas was very poor and his little kick out...
