Wright was moved to the middle prior to his injury, and looked even more dangerous (albeit in a different formation) I'd like to think Frank will find a fluid formation where he could play any combination of Saka / Haji / EMC / Simms & Bassette and make it work.

Binks, Kitching, Lat & Thomas were signed to play in a back 3. I’m not sure Lati and Binks are suited to play in a back four, although they could be useful in other positions. When Binks plays in a 3 he has more space to move forward and use his obvious passing skills.
