Match Thread Coventry City - Blackburn Rovers Match Thread - Tuesday 1st Oct

Willingness to press high makes such a difference. Like the way Thomas-Asante can shoot with little back lift - affects the defender and keeper getting set. Mason-Clark's assist was appreciated by team mates. Should give him confidence. Ben Wilson's handling in difficult conditions was...

Nervy half more than deserved to be leading. Hope not getting a second doesn't haunt us again. Kitching has been poor again. Looks like the pitch is slow running so some passes are under hit. Mason-Clark has great close control. Thought he has done well. Thomas-Asante works so hard. Odd wince by...

Dovin Van Erwijk Thomas Binks Bidwell Eccles Rudoni Torp Sakamoto Thomas-Asante Bassette Sheaf on for last 30 Thomas-Asante looks much better centrally and Bassette seems naturally to move to the left. Sakamoto is one of the few players who doesn't give the ball away carelessly at the moment.

    Profit on players

Think we will make a profit on Van Erwijk and possibly Dovin, Rudoni and Bassette. Think we will break even on some others. Cannot imagine anyone paying close to £9m for Wright.

To those who want Robins gone now

If something is working well and you make changes in an attempt to make things even better, but instead they get much worse, you alter what was changed and not what was working to begin with.

Match Thread Leeds United - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 28th Sep

Even without the pre-season hype and expectations, our performances in the main have been relegation standard. We always have the odd totally shit performance, but then seem to bounce back. That's not happened this year. There are no signs so far of them doing so.

    Leeds player ratings

6's for Wilson, DaSilva, Eccles, Thomas-Asante, Sakamoto and Torp. Everyone else 5's.

Hence why Wilson shouldn't started and why Binks she be ahead of Kitching.

Don't think I have seen our passing from our centre backs being so poor. So fortunate Leeds haven't made more of it. I have not seen another team in the Championship that looks so tactically unsure. How are we letting Ngonto turn every time?

Drop Rudoni deeper and get Torp as a 10. Sheaf to come off.

Simms has looked better receiving the ball but his passing has been very poor. Sheaf not surprisingly way off the pace.

This is going to be a rout. Unfortunately, this is tactical chaos. What is going on?!!!

Bring in an international young keeper as our two keepers were not deemed good enough. Then drop him when he hasn't done anything wrong. We need consistency. Not this chopping and changing.

    Kitching vs Binks

Binks for me is the better player. Kitching often has a heavy touch and has an awful disciplinary record for us.

    Simms and Wright

Their goal tallies last season hides their deficits. The amount of sitters they miss is unbelievable. Some of the basic football skills they haven't mastered and what is more than frustrating is their lack of physicality. They should be bullying defenders with their statures. Their body language...

    Robins will carry the can

Here is the second part of the CET interview with our Performance Director. Maybe the standard psychometric assessment isn't gold standard. Evidence based practices are certainly important but intuition and experience have got us a long way. In the second part of CoventryLive’s in-depth...
