    "Positive" Talks With Cranie

To be fair to the club's owners (which I very rarely am), Eastwood was rightly deemed surplus to requirements and not offered a new deal. As for Platt, I can't imagine there was a great effort on the part of the club to retain his services.

Could SISU be winding CCFC down?

No sign of an end to the transfer embargo, offers in for most of our players, no solid contract offers to players out of contract and talk of a massively reduced budget. Could this all be evidence that SISU are intending to sell off the entire squad (or anyone who would attract offers) and...

    Thorn should resign now

Some good points but with SISU at the helm we will continue to spiral down into oblivion and there is no hope. The one tactic left to force SISU's hand is public ridicule on a national scale. Afterall it did for Ken Deluded. If SISU were unable to find a new manager imagine how that would look...

    Thorn should resign now

Seeing as he has to sell all of his best players and probably most of his mediocre players as well, has zero budget and can't bring in anyone due to the embargo I really wouldn't blame Thorn if he resigned. It is awful that having promised to play it straight with the fans after last season's...

    League One tour 2012/13

It really hits home when you see that six of these teams have capacities of under 10,000.

    Thorn

Bruce Rioch? Or do you mean Gregor Rioch? Quite a big difference considering Bruce Rioch used to manage Arsenal. "Rioch at the Ricoh" would make a good headline at least!

    Totally agree with you Matt.

    Transfer Window Date

I recall hearing Linnell saying that it will depend on a meeting Fisher has with SISU early next week at which the budget for next season (and whether there is one) will be discussed. This appears to be the meeting where SISU will either pledge investment or start the process of folding the club.

thorn. its time you left now. please

Agreed. I'd be surprised if Thorn was offered another League job especially as our recent big name managers such as the likes of Adams, Reid and Boothroyd have not even managed to get anything bigger than League 2 lately.

thorn. its time you left now. please

Totally accept that he does the best of a bad job and I don't blame him for our relegation however I think we now need a fresh start. AT looks and sounds like a beaten man and I think the experience of this season has left its mark on him. What about a joint Richard Shaw and Lee Carsley ticket...
