    Programme Subscriptions

Never heard of a rule like that. How could they force anyone into a loss making exercise ? I would be happy with 7 or 8 pages for a quid.

    Programme Subscriptions

It's been around for decades. Had a subscription once or twice in the past. It beats lugging a catalogue around all day.

    George Thomas

We're not talking Messi here , personally I would say sign up or fuck off. It would be a shame but I feel more pissed with the fact it's dragging on than I would had he left after his contract finished.

That was when he was trying to defend Cantona after he had launched a 2 footed tackle into the crowd.

Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

I think everyone has been on Facebook baiting the waspies. Must admit some very good banter going on over the weekend.

How close is a takeover really...?

We can only hope she has made contact since the last offer. To lay this completely to rest all they need to do is release an official statement from the owner stating "we are going nowhere". So far there has been none of that , so hope springs eternal !

How close is a takeover really...?

I thought that to offset tax on another company it had to be the same trade ? Kin glad I didn't try my hand at accounting.

How close is a takeover really...?

Owning the cub wouldn't make any difference to bring the case, but I see your point about possible amounts. I suppose for every day they own us, they could get more.

How close is a takeover really...?

You would need someone from HMRC to answer that one. Tax and business laws in the UK are a minefield and it wouldn't surprise me if our accounts are somewhat colourful, to say the least.

How close is a takeover really...?

While we're on recruitment, ok we have signed players but if the ones offered new contracts don't stay , effectively that would mean £0 investment.

How close is a takeover really...?

My God, very brave. For me , even if we reach the prem in 3 years I will NEVER forgive or forget how they have reduced this club to rubble. Thanks to them and others we currently have what could be called a part time set up in all but name. It's going to take more than a couple of signings to...

    Bye bye Saturday

Wasps RFC could play home games at Ricoh Arena on Saturdays It says it's in the contract , so really it shouldn't allow them to change next seasons fixtures.

Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

It is if you have "football people" involved with the board. Sisu ( from memory ) have never had such people ( RR aside). All clubs now are primarily ran as a business , but you can't lose its heart and soul , that I'm afraid, is exactly what has happened here.

Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

I agree , anyone who tries to end this misery gets a thumbs up from me. I don't give a shit if he offers Ryton , player sales or anything else that isn't nailed down, the fact is we are going into oblivion under these tossers. A couple of years building again in league 2 ( or lower) , I'll take...

    Court hearing

Should they not have made everyone aware that it was for sale though, considering ( as they said many times) it was a community asset. It maybe wouldn't have made a difference but at least it would have been up front and honest. What we had was a private sale( in which we all had a stake in)...

    Court hearing

But they were not spurious claims , in each case someone admitted liability and passed on the relevant details. I agree if there are no witnesses as they would have hundreds daily.

    Court hearing

    5. Local authorities are given powers under the 1972 Act to dispose of land in any manner they wish, including sale of their freehold interest, granting a lease or assigning any unexpired term on a lease, and the granting of easements. The only constraint is that a disposal must be for the best...
