Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

What if, in a SBT work of fiction, sisu have also been contacted by our Aussie friends. That in itself would be enough for them to drag their feet a while longer. They have been reported to be doing feasibility studies on certain clubs , so maybe sisu will wait for them to make a decision on...

Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

If so then this is soul destroying. I hate to say that I'm finished with them ,but I can't face another season with fisher and sisu running this club. Time to wave a goodbye , at least until they are gone. If that is eventually ,non league then so be it. We all are hoping they see sense before...

    Guardian article 8 May

I remember the season after he left we played Everton in the league cup. He hardly touched the ball but scored the winner near the end. Cue his finger to the west end ! We had been giving him a hard time though !

They need us there full stop. Why else do a u turn on the legal stance. Unless sisu have dropped the court case and just forgot to tell us !!!

On the contrary, 10 and under were free , schools and clubs still got their weekly ration of giveaways. It is also important to remember that you cannot rely on play offs or European cup knockout games to plan finances. With what is being shelled out on wages etc it's little wonder that certain...

I don't think he ever played for Brum again either.

Unless people start paying for tickets they will not be able to turn it around. Although they average 16kish, which is over double what they got at wycombe, ticket sales are only up by 19%.

Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

Was you around in the 70s ?, labour and the trade unions of the time caused untold damage during that time.

    ST sales

The average attendance for league 2 this year was 4,700 , if we sold 10k season tickets , does anybody believe that we would have the biggest budget in the division ? Not a hope in hell in my eyes. That is why many will keep money in the bank next season.

    Better the devil you know?

You could argue we don't even get 50% of transfer fees now. We certainly only saw a fraction of the Maddison money. Does anybody really think that we will have any extra funding, if as expected we sell one or 2 this summer.

Your very own "Overcome with emotion" thread...

I was on that coach .Didn't the driver get lost ? I think he was getting worried as it was half full of headbangers.

    Pre-season 2017/18 - Tournament at Nuneaton

I agree , I was talking about one off friendlies at home. Iirc Inter Milan wanted ridiculous sums to come and open the Ricoh. As it was the stadium wasn't ready anyway.

Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

Is that the article they roll out every week ? The interview with Richardson is 2 years old , and let's face it they have lost lots of cash since then. I can never see them involved ( nor want them ) but I would imagine they are 100% behind a takeover, if only for their own future.

Problem is the better quality the opposition is, the more you have to pay them. We do all know that they don't play for free ?

Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

I would say that is a certainty. They wouldn't want to spend every penny to actually purchase the club.

Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

But Sisu were still in charge , had we returned under different owners , Imo, things would have been different. We certainly would not have gone from 27k down to 9k the following week.

Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

But Grendel, there are no ifs and buts about how this will end without something changing ,we all know this club will drop once more. The most important issue at the moment is getting a leadership that has the club and it's supporters foremost in its mind. I'm quite sure that more people would...

Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

I'm struggling to catch my breath with that , we're here desperately waiting for news that they are finally fucking off and all we get is a statement showing that they still just DON'T GET IT.

    Gilbert V Reid

Les Reid basically backs sisu In every way possible , his articles are always the complete opposite to the Cov Tel. To me and a lot of others that looks ( as someone has already said ) like nothing but a personal grudge against another paper ! Which I may add , is also shite.
