I can't see that being the case unless there's no other option. Starts raising integrity of the competition questions if some teams get to play us twice at home and others once.

Obviously with the huge caveat that we haven't seen the report and only have what Boddy says to go off but he claims that the specialist said that if its patched up now we'll be back in the same situation when the weather turns and Wasps start using it. That makes a new pitch the only option and...

So lets say we sell a player to be able to buy this £500K lay and play pitch. What happens if the pitch is destroyed during the World Cup break where instead of the pitch getting some rest and being looked after it will not only have Wasps playing on it but the Rugby World Cup. Do we come up...

    All purpose cricket thread

The parking at Edgbaston is a shitshow, makes getting to the CBS look easy. I get that they want to push people towards public transport but for me its 90 minutes, bus - train - bus, compared to 30 minutes in the car. And of course they only run the shuttle from New St to Edgbaston on 'major...

Match Thread ⚽️ Coventry City vs Huddersfield Town Match Thread - Saturday 20th Aug

Is any attempt actually being made to sort the pitch. Wasps are saying no new pitch but is any work being done to fix the existing one. Seen people say you can see the glow of the heat lamps when they're on at night and they haven't been on recently, surely they should be on as much as possible.

I may be wrong but I don't recall post after post on here prior to the 7s suggesting the pitch would be so bad we wouldn't be able to play on it.

Not really weeks is it. Look on the ground staffs twitter feed. Pitch looked fine before the CWG, sure we all know in an ideal world it needed replacing but I don't buy into this 'Wasp said they weren't replacing the pitch therefore we knew it would be unsafe' idea. It wasn't until 29th July...

They did. Leeds pitch was fucked and they needed a drop in but obviously these things are grown to order not just sat there waiting in case someone needs one. Spurs had one that was being grown as they thought they'd need a replacement but decided they didn't need it so sold it on to Leeds.

    Kevin Maton

When people suggest we just pay for it where do they think the money is coming from. If we had a spare £500K lying around in the budget don't we think Robins would be wanting it to strengthen the squad? And if we did pay what happens when Wasps destroy it, do we just drop another £500K every...

How do we end up with these idiots. He's got to be the worst of the lot, always has been absolutely clueless and if you so much as ask him a polite question on twitter you get blocked.

    Wasps downward spiral...

No doubt Shugs will tell everyone it’s someone who has it in for Wasps 😂 At some point when everyone is saying the same thing and everything is pointing to their being problems it might be wise to consider there might actually be a problem

Disputes Resolution - what does it mean

Exactly. There's potentially two parts to this, the first is sorting the pitch, the second is compensation. Given multiple independent people have now looked at the pitch and said it is dangerous then surely for Street, or whoever it ends up being, that's fairly straightforward. Wasps need to...

    Wasps downward spiral...

Great article, absolutely spot on and not the first former employee recently to warn things aren't well at Wasps. This part is something Wasps supporters just don’t seem to be able to grasp.

Disputes Resolution - what does it mean

Just another way of describing mediation I expect. Given that multiple people have now declared the pitch unplayable and potentially not playable going forward I'm not really sure how Wasps are going to argue there isn't a problem.

    CBS issues

Had a look on the Wasps forums to see what their thoughts were. Delusional doesn't even begin to describe it. Some highlights include the EFL having a vendetta against Wasps, the independent agronomist not actually being independent, we should give not loan Wasps 500K for a new pitch, we are...
