From what I can make out we may have been bundled in with other local teams who put in requests to play games away because there wasn't policing available as they were working the CWG. I wonder if there's been a breakdown in communication and it wasn't picked up that we could do with more games...

Whenever the next SCG meeting is, or whatever its called now, can someone ask what the plan is for next season as this seems to be patching it up to get us through this season. Sounds like it really needs ripping up and starting again but if Wasps are broke is that going to happen next summer...

who knows what a turf and stitch pitch is then? I have a feeling I've heard stitching mentioned at Edgbaston when they were preparing for the CWG. They put some sort of mesh down and then grow the grass through it but that still requires time for grass to grow.

Or this is the quickest / only available solution at the moment and will get us through to the end of the season when a proper pitch can be laid.
