    Strava is as accurate as the device used to capture the run. If you’re using a phone and it’s in a pocket they have a tendency to have intermittent gps and give some weird distances some times. Yours looks pretty accurate on that picture though.

    Went on a massive trail run around Stoneleigh this morning. Was meant to be 11.5, ended up at 13.5miles. Love exploring these trails but the stingers were huge in some places.

    I’ve just been out and ran the club 40 minute relay. 4 runners, team with the highest accumulative distance takes the medal. Really happy to have smashed some pbs. 5km was 22.20 prior to this Set in jan and 10km was 48:11 set in March.

    Ponticelli has been out in my area. He’s rapido too. There’s plenty of us that do the route he’s running and he goes the opposite (harder) direction.

    A nice 10miles tonight. Headed out from Beduth to Ansty on A Coventry Way and then came back along the canal to sutton stop. Cracking run, would recommend ACW to anyone.

    I joined Northbrook and saw my times come down from 24.30 to 22.20 for the 5k in 3 months. I feel it’s really made me transition from a jogger to a runner.

    Quitting smoking

    Cold turkey mate. I went from 20 a day to nothing overnight. Once you stop, call yourself a non smoker and keep that in your mind. I found that if you try other methods you’re “quitting” and give yourself an excuse. Cold turkey and you’ve quit. It’s amazing what a mindset can do for you.

    I’m plugging away. 85km this month, did a 5km effort yesterday and managed 23.17. Haven’t done any speed work for a while so I was worried I’d lost a bit, but feel better after that. 2km effort 2km recovery and another km effort.
