Right who's the next manager then?

Frank Lampard is allegedly a very good friend of DK's, so I am not surprised to see his name front running in the betting.

Right who's the next manager then?

    He would be my choice.

OFFICIAL: Mark Robins has been sacked

Absolute tosh, things were bad before we sold Palmer.

OFFICIAL: Mark Robins has been sacked

Sorry, but don't agree with the word premature. We've won four league games since the Man Utd SF, what's that 20 games ago or more? It's not good enough.

OFFICIAL: Mark Robins has been sacked

This can't have been an easy decision for the owner to make, I ain't envious of the position he's put himself in and the fact he's stated is going to do a "Fans Forum" to answer any question is f***ing brave! Coming back to Mark, results haven't been good enough recently and there are lots of...

    Robins Out Poll pt3

Whilst I’m quick to agree, one defeat shouldn’t bring everyone out calling for the managers head, people were quick to make a mockery of anyone wanting Robins out after two wins. Not necessarily yourself that I’ve seen, but if people are going to give it they’ve got to take it.

    Robins Out Poll pt3

Correct, the only question should ever be is he progressing the team/club in the right direction and that's by getting results on the pitch.

    Viktor Moving on

Good story on Vik here by Sky. Apologies if posted elsewhere. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11096/13246124/viktor-gyokeres-sporting-cps-own-version-of-erling-haaland-faces-manchester-city-amid-stellar-scoring-run

    Robins Out Poll pt3

Not all 92 clubs in the leagues have spent tens of millions of pounds on players and find themselves languishing in the bottom half of the table. Let's see how we get on in the run up to December.

    Robins Out Poll pt3

The last two results have been good, but going back to my previous post on this thread still need to see more.

    Robins Out Poll pt3

Brilliant three points on Saturday, very much needed, but more importantly very well deserved. I thought from the first minute we looked better than Luton and it was only through an error from Saka and defensive frailties that we gave Luton an undeserved lead. All that being said the lads...

    Robins Out Poll pt3

I'll still be saying "Out" when this poll reaches Pt 25.

    Time's Up

I appreciate Doug King’s position here, he’s damned if he does pull the trigger as fans may turn against the decision but if he don’t then there is a risk we get remain in a relegation battle and potentially get dragged down to L1. For me at this point DK has to look at the facts, look at the...

Poll: Robins In or Out? Part 2

As I said on the other thread, it's out for me now. Results have not been good enough at the end of last and start of this season. It's with a heavy heart because Robins has been brilliant, but he'll look at results himself and say they're not good enough.

    Robins has to go…

Thanks for everything Mark, you've been brilliant and taken our club from the depths of the football league to within a penalty kick of the Premier League, but not all stories have a happy ending. Results have been poor at the end of last and start of this season. Make all the excuses you want...

    Robins

I suppose Mark Robins needs to give up football as well then doesn’t he….

    Robins

I would go with; Dovin, Da Silva, MVE, Binks, Lati, Thomas, Eccles (Sheaf if he were fit), Torp, Rudoni, Bassette and Simms. Wright wouldn’t start for me, Saka was wearing a protective boot so I think there is potential for a treatment room spell there, EMC and Wright on the bench give us...

    the issues

Man Utd never replaced Roy Keane. We never replaced Gary Mac. Tottenham have not replaced Harry Kane. You can’t always replace integral players with like for like, that’s why Clubs recruit 3 players to replace 1 specific, because that one was unique. Can’t keep using this excuse as the reason...

I think this needs to happen Speedie. 3-5-2 next game and let’s mix it up.

    the issues

I wish people would stop with this “We haven’t replaced Hamer” rhetoric it’s boring. Yes we haven’t replaced him, one player doesn’t make a team and as good as Hamer was it’s 11 players out on the pitch and it’s a squad game. As a club Hamer’s sale (and Gyokeres) has allowed the club to invest...
