    Doom and Gloom

Gary Mabbutt 16th May 1987 ... even the missus was there and went totally apeshit, and she doesn't even like football.

Telegraph says we have bought the Brandon speedway site.

And that's another debt SISU would saddle the club with and not have a hope in hell of recovering when they try to sell for gazumpteen million.

Telegraph says we have bought the Brandon speedway site.

Access othrough Binley Woods residential area would never be approved ... forget 3 to 5 years.

Warring parties secret talks in last-ditch attempt to keep Sky Blues in Coventry

I don't believe the reason SISU has reluctantly agreed to 'negotiate' is because they want administration lifted for the benefit of the football club and signing new players. I believe it is because they are desperate to avoid further investigation into the accounts and dealings of CCFC Ltd and...

    "something glorious from the wreckage"

Simply moving the club to Northampton for 3 to 5 years (or more) is treating the club like a franchise in which the damage done to the fans and community the club belongs to doesn't matter as long as the hedge fund maximises it's return.

Your Choice, Take 15 Point Deduction or ACL Sign CVA?

I want to see rejection of the CVA leading to an investigation into the accounts and dealings of CCFC Ltd & CCFC Holdings under SISU, even if it means a 15 point deduction next season for the Northampton franchise.

    Let me ask..

In order to find out what would be acceptable to ACL who seem keen to do a deal, SISU will need to return to the negotiating table, so why doesn't SISU accept the offer by the FL to stage a meeting between the parties?

    Nick I want PSGM1 unbanned

I would say it is probably in his own best health interests that he remains banned ... he needs to seek help and have time to recuperate. Shame Hatton Hospital has been closed.

OK so tell me what exactly and realisticly should happen next?

No one is suggesting we can hurt SISU without impacting on the club, but by its action in taking the club away from Coventry SISU has given us fans no other option but to make it as painful for SISU as we can. We don't need to dent the financial might of SISU, but we do need to hit them as hard...

OK so tell me what exactly and realisticly should happen next?

I believe the protest held yesterday does serve to unite fans in terms of boycotting matches and starving SISU of income, to put pressure on SISU to do a deal that does not involve playing home games anywhere other than Coventry. In order for ACL to offer any better deal SISU would need to...

    Protest Thread 20/7/13

Stayed till the end and got back a short time ago. Excellent turnout by the SBA and feel privileged to have been part of it. Could not see the back or front of the march at any stage as it moved into town . Coventry City former players association hinted at an alternative event being planned at...

    Current players

Criticising your employer usually has a negative effect on your future employment prospects, and these players will have families and livelihoods to consider, so it is not surprising that many are not publicly critical of the situation or SISU, other than expressing a desire to stay at the Ricoh.

    season tickets now on sale

I plan to go to away games and I don't see that as propping up SISU even though they will get a small % of ticket fees , because overall the statement made by having strong away support that verbally pisses on SISU and pathetic 'home' support serves to reinforce the message that SISU should just...

    Acl back on cwr again

It costs nothing to talk and all things rightly would have been up for discussion and negotiation at the meeting. I guess I am just a gullible idiot.

    reverse protest

Better still, 15,000 standing on the hill or in the Northamptonshire pubs, and the ground empty of 'home ' fans. Just an idea.

    Ainsworth

Excellent stuff Bob Ainsworth ... murkiness seems to surround everything to do with SISU ... great that he is drawing attention to it so publicly.
