    Is Maddison a joker?

Is there a chance he could come back on loan next season, if TM wants him? Or do the add-ons mean that we'd prefer him to stay at Norwich?

    Finance Director Steve Brookfield

I'd be very surprised if that was the case. They're probably not that different to CCFC, financially. Most companies of that size would have a fully qualified accountant, maybe 2-3 days per week any maybe with a grander title than "finance administrator" which might be closer to the reality of...

    More from Anderson

Doesn't sounds like that to me, as he's taken a very different stance to her on the idea of renting at the Ricoh, for instance. Also, be fair, hard to call Waggott a failure as CEO (see below comment) The predecessor who signed Tony Mowbray and co, and got us back to the Ricoh?

    Academy future?

Chris Anderson recently stated the Joy sees the value of the academy and is enthusiastic about it, on the basis that a) it connects the club with the community b) provides squad players for less than we'd get for the same players if signed from elsewhere ("squad value"); and c) potentially...

    Finance Director Steve Brookfield

Exactly the kind of thing I'm trying to get at. It all seemed to happen very quietly.

    Finance Director Steve Brookfield

Perhaps you should because it's not clear how our club is run off the field at the moment. Is the whole operation in the care of a statistics academic (albeit a well-meaning one)?

    Finance Director Steve Brookfield

Didn't realise until lately that Brookfield left the club earlier this season; he's now joined Bristol Rovers. Although he wasn't listed as a Company Director, he was still probably the most senior member of the management staff after Steve Waggott. Does anyone know: 1) reasons for him leaving...

    More from Anderson

I like the guy, met him and he seems genuine - but as others on here have said, it's one thing to talk a good game, but a whole different ballgame to "walk the walk", as many of our managers and directors have found since relegation from the Prem, onwards.

    Anyone seen this?

I'd actually support that. In practice, with all these loan windows, the transfer window barely exists. All teams would be on an equal footing, so if anything with our bigger than average squad, we'd be at an advantage.

    Peter Ramage

The biggest emergency was that he was in the squad, taking up a wage. Bye bye Peter.

    New Left Back

I suppose Haynes is Plan B (or Plan C, if you prefer) for if we can't get someone else in....related to the player turnover thread though, there are probably advantages in bringing RH back purely for familiarity / continuity reasons...we've got lots of newish faces in the back 4 already at the...

    Player turnover

Nah, last game was when we were in the Champ, Sheff U home I think it was... This is first team appearances, including squad appearances i.e. being an unused sub as well as the JPT, which takes care of all except Henderson. I thought you were right but Soccerbase said he played for us once in...

Rafa really doesn't have anything to lose by recalling Armstrong at this point. http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/sport/football/football-news/newcastle-united-striker-adam-armstrong-11045090

    Kyle Spence ?

When I got to the end of the bit that I've highlighted, I thought you were goingto continue with "so he's clearly not ready" or something....it never ceases to amaze me of how much we expect kids, aged 18-21, to perform as first-teamers. They're just kids at 19, they won't be the real deal until...
