Despite his non-prolific record, some extra experience and having another option is good. Mog obviously trusts him. I guess he will be used mostly as an impact sub in the Platt mould, hopefully more successfully. If AA gets recalled by the Toon he might become Plan A until we get a replacement.

Sick Boy clearly feels that fans being underwhelmed by the club's performance and the owners' incompetence is not the reason there has been negativity around the club, clearly thinks that the fans are to blame. We heard waggott and the club getting cause and effect muddled up last week too.

I don't understand why anyone thinks we have an exciting squad, even putting to one side the lack of strikers. Yes we have a solid back 4 on paper, plus Romain, JOB and Tudgay, but that really is it. We can't rely on the likes of George Thomas, Ivor, Maddison etc as if they are fully fledged...

Why not sign him AND the strikers and winger we need AND Penno. The money must be there as currently the squad is still much smaller than last year.

Sign him up! Would be a good addition to the midfield in combination with Vincelot. Thomas and Fleck not good enough IMO. That would let Fleck play behind the striker. Would also like to sign Pennington, another winger and 2 strikers including a nippy little guy and a big man.
