Bloody hell, even with our run of form I did not see this result coming. PUSB.

Hardly surprising when you think that two thirds of the senior squad is not contracted to play for us next season...still they're professionals...

Remember when we were top of the league and all the salivating about playing Villa next season...right now it seems a long way off.

I said in the run up to this game that IF lost (pooh pooing that very idea), then I'd write off our chances. I've changed my mind a bit....if we lose on Sat and the teams above us mostly win, then I think it is over. Unless that happens, we have a glimmer of hope.

You're leaving before half time when we're one down at home against the leakiest defence in the league, as we chase down a playoff spot. Shame on you.

Yes, a win tonight, which has to be highly probable and it's all to play for on Sat. Win again at Gills and the race really is wide open again, and we have momentum. Other teams will drop points - after all, we're playing lots of them! That said, if we lose or draw tonight I think it's too long...

    long way to go

Confirmed - 8 points behind after Millwall win. A bastard set of results for us today. That said, we've got a lot of the teams above us to play so we can gain some ground if we can re-discover our early season form. PUSB.

Telegraph Piece - Big Offseason for Mowbray

Do you have a beef with the CT? Always found them very fair TBH.

Telegraph Piece - Big Offseason for Mowbray

Not a big fan of the CT opinion pieces - they feel like padding on slow news days. There's nothing there that any City fan couldn't have written. In the mind of a City fan, the next game is always the biggest game, the next season always the biggest season, etc.

    Bradford Millwall Today

Sorry I thought this was the thread keeping an eye on the Millwall-Burton game? Anyway, don't blame Joe Cole for our bad run. He's played quite well for the most part, if not as much of a star as we'd have hoped. Some said he'd tear up this league - at 34, that was never likely but he's worked...

    Squeaky Bum time

Otis mate, please stop quoting points totals from recent seasons as a guide to what we need this time. Every season is different.

Get rid before next season starts

Anyone think we'll offer Phillips a new deal? He can't get any game time - I reckon TM doesn't rate him.
